QUOTE(milentechie @ Jun 11 2011, 01:16 PM) Thanks for the suggestion. Agreed with what you'd said. I am finding ways to reduce the thickness of my wallet. Thinking of getting another wallet/card holder just for storing the cards. you manage to get a card holder? my cards are getting out of shape in my wallet and fear that it cant be swiped at some point. Yeah...a sling bag or tote bag might do the trick to keep everything that you are carrying while on the move. I also found some interesting credit card holders in Amazon.com that come with protection from RFID scanning. Some can hold up to 10-15 cards. ![]() |

That is more for storing business cards. Looks like got no choice but to keep credit cards separately from wallet.

Usually there is no other charges when not using the card provided you paid fully any outstanding amount, except the GST and annual fee (if any)

QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Sep 16 2011, 09:07 AM) I want to know if there's a CC that can pay all sorts of bills (Assessment, Quit Rent, Electricity, Water, Indah Water, etc.) online. refer here: Currently I'm using MBF Click and Pay to pay most of my bills online but there are some bills where I can't use MBF to pay such as KL Quit Rent. I would like to know which is the best CC that is able to pay all my bills online. I don't really care about the cash backs or points or whatever not. I just want a convenient one to pay everything online so that I don't have to log in to other CC or use M2U just to pay the other bills. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1791215 |

QUOTE(OrangeStreet @ Sep 29 2011, 02:12 PM) Wanted to ask: Is credit limit for all credit cards shared even if they are from different bank? I can answer the first and second question. The credit limits for cards from different bank are NOT shared. You can use up to 10k ie. 5k per card in that situation. For example Card in Bank A limit 5K, Card in Bank B limit 5K, that means I can use up to 5K or 10K? I'm thinking to get call for cash service, if I use up 100% of Card A, then will I be able to use Card B? Thanks. |

Well said. From not knowing what is a CL just 6 months ago, I gain plenty useful tips and manage to 'save' about 1k from rebates and points redemption during this period, and the figure could easily be more if on-the-spot discounts are considered. All this from just normal monthy expenditure. Nowadays, I find myself being able to give some advice to families and friends who are non-lowyat members too
