To access the water tank, you need to go thru the ceiling manhole. Normally, this is located somewhere that a normal ladder can access. like bathroom, etc

QUOTE(dvinez @ Aug 18 2011, 04:09 PM)
hi guys, i see a few drops of black colored liquid coming down from my water tank. very few like 3-5.
it does not happen everyday, it probably happen like once a month.

sometime kena my wall, got water fall down stain on wall. sometime kena directly at my stair its just like a normal liquid. each time i saw it dried already.

my water tank is located above staircase, just below roof/ceilling of highest floor.
is it possible that my water tank or roof have problem? or some kind of insect or pipes nut/screw loose?
since tank is above staircase, my ladder is not tall enough and i no dare put ladder on it and go up see.

the rubber washer(black in color) in the pipe joint is thinning or worn-out,need replacement.

If it could thru ceiling, than you should able to see where it came from, as should have marked sign around the area.
Maybe good to check the Ball as well, which on/off cause water overflow?

u mean ball float ?

Ball Float is the float similar like your WC Cistern.... Anyhow for Water Tank (Tangki), I suggest you go for Copper Wire Ball Float... Expensive but much reliable compare to uPVC ball float....
