We just hired a Filipina maid from an agency in Puchong. Only 2 weeks and got problem di..discovered she got skin problems.. Just called the boss, telling her about the problem. Her reply is not very comforting at all, she said at least this maid won't run away, won't flirt, won't this won't that..bla..bla...wtf...we pay almost RM12k to hire a helper to solve our household problem, now we have to help solve her problem... Most maid agency are rip-offs...just know how to make money, but when got problem, just shy away...
Hi everyone. I've been reading your posts, and I agree that there are a lot of bad and good experiences out there regarding maid agencies. I'm also in the midst of looking for a maid to look after the house hold chores to spare my ageing parents from doing them. I think it'll be good if we could actually get feedback on which agencies to look out for if they provide bad services. Those with good services should be recommended, and if others can verify that the agency is good, then we will be able to help one another as well.
I would also prefer Filipinos or Indonesian (as communication is easier), but as we're a chinese family, we prefer non-muslim domestic helpers as we have dogs, and also would be handling pork in our meals.
So,thanks for the previous recommendations, but can anyone else give feedback on their experiences with these agencies? Would appreciate it very much..Maybe you can state the name of agency, as well as experience and the rough price that you paid for the handling of the domestic helper? We as consumers do deserve to know if certain agencies are irresponsible or charging exorbitant fees. If we can compare and help each other, we would be able to give business to the deserving agencies.. afterall, who would want to entrust their children or families to the hands of incapable or dubious domestic helpers right?
