Bundesliga is the best in terms of entertainment. Teams always want to play the ball instead of lob it off. Standing crowds which make a lot of noises.

Gotze reminds me too much of goatse. Can never wipe that out of my mind. But I think he will flourish.

Germany is and has always been the top side of international football. Just need a trophy or two.

Would it be better to just put one big thread about Bundesliga instead of teams in the league? That way I think can invite more discussions.

I support this idea. Since Bundesliga is not a big as compared to Seria A, La Liga and EPL in Malaysia. why not?

we can discuss Wolfsburg,Bayer Leverkusen,Schalke, Hoffenheim.

There is a few young starlets such as Marko Marin ,Uchida,Kagawa , Kuzmanovic and etc

I don't know who will open the thread but I suggest put the monthly tv schedule for the league.

Welcome back Nurin Sahin... din't think eligible for UCL but might help to strengthen on the middle and keep team fit for this season and his experience from the past still able to offer something since the stability in centre is important toward fast play and forward commitment style by Dortmund.

Last season Kehl return and reliable enough (luckily kept fit) to keep the Bundesliga but now only Gündogan seems maintain the form. Need awareness and loan decision there is reasonable justified.

Such a thrillin come back!! Worth my Panda Eyes today... The moment Joaquin score the goal I really miss Hummels around. Ankle injury from last derby match really challenge his fitness. Well Joaquin still got a touch also recall my memory of knowing this guy (during play with Betis) while his Solo effort punished Barcelona about 10 years ago.

Yes, the fans really awesome and they prove to be the main contributor of positive moral for players to perform. Come on... All the way to spirit of 1997.

Great win for the first part... Robert is the man, first player with 4 goals against Real Madrid in UCL. I’m late for the kick-off start then been welcomed by his first goal. He’s so clinical even returned from minor injury and cleverly reserve the energy with precision game play delivered the result. He even was having fun with collecting the silly yellow card.

Dortmund able to contain the middle side of the game, reliable Kuba having a good game supporting middle and surprise the Madrid with his trade mark run. Piszczek also having fairly comfortable contest from his side despite the rare mistake by Hummels gave away the goal, the back four doesn’t lose their head ever since after that. Even trap the Los Blancos 10 times of offside counts! Really nice to see so many clean challenges and clean passes throughout the game.

Yeah we learn the lesson and teach them the lesson alright... Keep focus for 2nd part of semi final and don’t trap with Real Madrid intelligence coz they did it so many time before in similar stages.

Clever 'injury' substitution at the dying moment by Dortmund. Completely took out Madrid momentum out of the game. But Madrid only have themselves to blame for missing barrage of chances early on.

Indeed.. even while versus Bayern on previous Supercup couple weeks ago. It's good Borussia now can rely on other forwards rather than Lewandowski since backup striker Schieber useless for last 3 seasons. Even homegrown boy Marvin Ducksch showing he's ready for challenge. Whole this time Dortmund really depend to existing players with good adaptability to cover many positions rather than having solid depth squad.

Seriously who is the scout behind the excellent work that has been done by Dortmund in recent years, or is the credit also due to Klopp himself, they never seemed to suffer for every star player leaving the club, well can't really say that yet for Gotze, but for another new joiner to shine and scored a hattrick is just..

Nobody can deny the positive energy and good man management by Klopp... with such limited luxury (transfer fees) he manage to upset Bayern for TWO seasons. Just the existing players know how to appreciate the thrust and translate it on the field. I think they very keen on players with high potential and grab them fast... Kagawa, Reus and now Aubameyang. Just wonder when the new number 10 Mkhitaryan to get the spotlight as 25mil pound not a small amount. Anyway Klopp knows best let the team gel together as the chemistry always the key toward high mobility and fluid attacking that made Dortmund really fun to watch...

Today got 100-percenters match Borrusia Dortmund versus Werder Bremen among few fixtures from other top league. Might be another difficult game tonight as starting this season some of results quite tricky such as one of the best draw result match during first game between Schalke and Hamburg (3-3) then last week both of them got thrashed by Worlsburg and Hoffenheim respectively.

Last match really blow with the absent of Gündogan and Mkhitaryan got chance but not much we can notice other than common team work controls dealing with the bravery of Eintracht Braunschweig. Such a relief with maximum points last week and another surprise by youngster (Hofmann). Something that cannot take lightly in Bundesliga this season of proving kind level of competitiveness week-in week-out. This might be to early to say anyway.

Hahaha.. by look of Klopp face like he want to end the official life after Higuain score. Well nice cross and goal nonetheless by Napoli in this fast pace and robust first half. Schmelzer always usual suspect once goes to aerial marking. Should be Bender keep support on tracking Higuain while Subotic was kept quite long on the side line by the official.

Too bad for Dortmund Manager and the keeper sent off.

Mix feelings Season... Got 100th win in European but not enough to capitalised the low performance of Real Madrid toward coveted result. Gift goals, unconverted chances, cancelling Real Madrid plays, unlucky situation, key player injuries, step-up youngsters and determined veterans, high line defending and fluid attacking; after all there're reasonable conditions that lead BVB to what it is this season.

This week-end versus Bayern even not much to fight for (just continue gripping 2nd place) but the sentiments might entertain us all.

Wow. I'm very surprised that there was no activity in this thread from October to April. That's half a year! Where are the Dortmund fans?

Well TS also abandon this thread after return and active with his normal interest out there. For me as the football supporter follow certain club for each main league out there and BvB was my preference since Sammer Time!!!... and keep remain as silent reader here at Football Lounge.

Bet many football fans out there admire Dortmund for some sort of reasons despite knowing Bundesliga all about Bayern power house that seems always dictate the weather of this league. Whatever it is the professionalism element in this league always focal points toward maintaining the culture and passion in sport among Germans and keep Bundesliga the world's most attended football league.

Dortmund nearly become ground zero during financial crisis but the genuine spirit and believe that lead to what it is nowadays. And that was such a praiseworthy transition period.....

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Matthias Ginter from SC Freiburg. The 20 year-old defender - a member of Germany’s World Cup-winning squad – put pen to paper on a five-year contract (until 30 June 2019) after successfully completing a medical on Wednesday. Ginter will wear the number 28 shirt at the eight-time German champions.

„A boyhood-dream came true for me today. I have always been a big BVB fan and now I can wear the shirt of my favourite club. I want to take the next step in my sporting development in Dortmund. I’m already looking forward to experiencing the incredible atmosphere at the Signal Iduna Park and being part of this wonderful team I have heard so many positive things about when I return from my post-World Cup holiday”, said the German international

Dortmund singned two strikers to be very adjustable.
Immobile is a clinical stiker, with weaknesses in combination play.
Lewandowski is one of the best strikes when facing the goal with his back, which is totally different to Immobile.
Nevertheless Immobile got a rapid acceleration and reads the game very well, probably better than Lewandowski. Immobiles strength become quite clear when he is in the process of pressing and counter attacking, which is right what defines Dortmund's strength, probably they are even the team bringing that to perfection most. But with a deep defending opponent team Immobile has work to be done.
Ramos who was the first signing is different compared to Immobile, even though he is quite clinical striker himself too. He loves rapid combinations and is very creative, on top of that he is very good in the air.
Ramos is a signing which gives Klopp the option to be unpredictable, something they were missing lately. Ramos will create space for Reus Mchitarjan and Kuba. Maybe Klopp will sometimes even let both, Immobile and Ramos play and change the formation to 4-1-3-2 (originally 4-2-3-1) especially in the national league since many teams play a 4-4-2 or even a 5-4-1 standing very deep when facing Dortmund.

So all in all, they might have lost a world class striker, but just like when Götze left last year and they signed Mchitarjan they used this to get a highly variable team, which strengths is to hinder a organized build up play of opponents and have rapid counter attacks once taking possession and using the few seconds when the opponent is not yet organized again. They lost a brilliant player, but as a team they will be stronger than ever before and that's what distinguished them from many teams in the past.

BvB have to keep reliable player at the back beside the Defensive / Centre Midfielder whoever any of them able to reset the game at the break that command or initiate the pass to player with the vision before rumble the final third. The philosophy seems quite simple as long teamwork never break and determination to bombard the opponent half.

The addition of Ginter to continue this tradition look quite healthy but yet to let Hummel go for whatever reason. Last season really test the back four with injuries and rotation of central defence as both main man (Hummel & Subotic) eventually take turn for being a sideliner. Such a heady season dedicated to Sokratis and (short term call) uncle Friedrich to cover up. So good to see both fullback being well covered by surprise package.

Since early-mid 90s (huhuhu no coverage during that time unless from Thailand TV channel) once Dortmund strong at the back always become the contenders. The era of Sammer drags until end service or Kohler, Worns and Reuter with changes of attacking players still being manage to provide sufficient challenge to high level. Then after that... there goes the saddened years...

The progress of "The Team" make Germany as focal points with regards of development as well another modern plays to refer with. Other teams in Bundesliga also flourishing with certain revelation even not many high rate player profile around. As long you manage to get the balance team, good strategy, commitment and strive professionally at it best then you might get something out of nothing. Well previous World Cup edition set the illustration alright!!

Atlético has a deal with Reus. Fee is agreed with Dortmund but there is a disagreement on when part of it will be paid.

Update: Marco Reus to Atletico Madrid is in the 'crucial hours' of a deal being done for €27m. [Cadena Cope]

According to the German business newspaper handelsblatt Dortmund is having an accumulation of capital these days to offer a chance to puma and signal iduna to become investors alongside with their sponsorship agreement. This will probably skim 120M€ and should help them furthermore to bind their top players.

Furthermore I personally think a possible switch from reus to athletico has a very slim (if even) chance. If at all then barca since they are effected by the 2015 transfer ban significantly.

according to dortmunds local newspaper derwester we are about to sign back Kagawa! It seems like an agreement with him has been made and now its just about the financial talks between manu n bvb.

I would certainly appreciate that move. Not just giving us more options for a long post world cup season but also boosting our international attention, especially in Asia region.

However I am concerned that this move could also mean that Reus is not
staying with us much longer doh.gif hope we will not lose him to real this season however if we can get Isco+EUR.... haha why not biggrin.gif

Very well done.
Arsenal always seemed to be helpless about the massive counter pressing.
Should have been a higher score.

Loved how well Mkhitaryan played tonight! Awesome performance. Hopefully hes luckier scoring next time.

He disposessed them 20+ times and introduced promising counter attacks by that... But yeah those chances... :D

Well Lewa wasnt any better at his first or even second year haha.

After all I am delighted by the teams performance since on the paper that maybe was our 'weakest' starting 11 in this yet early season :p

Anyways time for some super short zzzzzZ

Well since last 3 season Hamburg maintain as the Bogey team even during on form. Three forward players was marked tightly meanwhile no creative player in the middle. Sometime team need to be more patience rather than to urgent quick passes that evenly covered by opponent. Now the feeling of thin squad square away for the results right now.

Dortmund doesn't need to invest much in players. Good examples are Kagawa, Lewandowski, Gundogan, Reus, Gotze and the list goes on
since Klopp's golden era.

They will rise again like a phoenix and Klopp is the right coach who can make this happen! Back to the roots

Dortmund's 1997 hero looks to inspire Asian youngsters

Malaysian champions Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) are reportedly forging a partnership with Borussia Dortmund -- and Dortmund's one-time Champions League hero hopes that many other Asian clubs will embrace the Bundesliga giants.

Dortmund's youth academy is headed by former attacking midfielder Lars Ricken, who scored the Black and Yellows' decisive goal in their 1997 UEFA Champions League final victory over Italian heavyweights Juventus in Munich.

This week, Ricken was in Singapore where Dortmund have set up a regional office. He talked about the club's push into Asia, just over two months after the return to Signal Iduna Park of Japan's Shinji Kagawa from Manchester United.

Sources tell ESPN FC that Dortmund and Malaysian Super League club, JDT, are discussing ways of working together, having met in Malaysia last month.

Dortmund are perceived to be Germany's fresh upcoming footballing force as opposed to the towering and stately presence of global superpowers Bayern Munich. The club, therefore, believe that the relatively young Southeast Asian football audience could develop an emotional bond with them, thanks to the attractive high-tempo passing and pressing style adopted by manager Jurgen Klopp. Of course, Germany's World Cup victory at Brazil 2014 also helps.

Other long-term regional initiatives in the pipeline for Dortmund include partnerships with Southeast Asian government agencies and a potential match in the Singapore Sports Hub stadium during the European summer break.

Talking to ESPN FC, the club's international head of business development Benedikt Scholz explained that a robust digital strategy is at the core of their operational strategy for the region.

"We are the new superpowers from Germany, the World Cup champions," said Scholz. "We are perceived as young and fresh and therefore have a synergy with the age-profile of the Asian football audience. We play an attractive style of football and have regional presence in our first team such as Kagawa, Ji Dong-Won [South Korean striker] and Mitchell Langerak [Australian goalkeeper]. We cannot take all our Asian fans to live the match day experience at our home ground, the Signal Iduna Park. But we can create easy and fast access for them to the club through the digital platform."

Scholz said that according to data provided by their global partner, sports gaming company EA Sports, Borussia Dortmund are among the five most popular European clubs in Asia when it comes to young people embracing new technology.

"Asian sport consumption is increasingly turning to the mobile and gaming platforms reflecting the generational profile of the region's sports lovers," said Suresh Letchmanan, the club's Asian business head. "Therefore, we believe we will be at the forefront of the digital sports explosion in the region in the future."

Dortmund's global shirt sponsor Evonik and kit supplier Puma, both of whom have regional bases in Singapore, will help in branding initiatives in the region. The Bundesliga's media rights marketing arm, DFL Sports Enterprises, has an Asian office based out of Singapore and will work closely with the club to achieve strategic branding goals.

After Kagawa, perhaps the best regional ambassador for the club is Lars Ricken. From the time he was 20 in 1997, Ricken's life has been intertwined with the ebbs and flows of his only club, Dortmund.

Ricken scored the goal that secured victory for Dortmund in the 1997 final within 16 seconds of having come on as a substitute. But his career wasn't always full of memorable moments. After earning 16 Germany caps, he started a two-year long absence in 2005 due to a cruciate ligament injury.

That same year, Dortmund, the only publicly-listed club in the German stock exchange, were on the verge of bankruptcy. Their share value plummeted by 80 percent in the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and they imposed a 20 percent pay cut on all of their players.

However, the club were resuscitated financially towards the later part of the previous decade. Dortmund's revival coincided with the arrival of tactical genius, Jurgen Klopp. The club claimed back-to-back Bundesliga wins in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and finished runners up to rivals Bayern Munich in the all-German UEFA Champions League final in May 2013. As the Youth Academy head, 38-year-old Ricken will have a key role in developing local Southeast Asian talent.

Speaking to ESPN FC in Singapore, Ricken emphasised the importance of scouting Asian players for Dortmund. "I have been to Japan in 2013 as the youth academy head. I've also visited Thailand a few times. Asian youngsters have very good technical skills and can become as good as Kagawa if given the right professional guidance," said Ricken.

"The German system is the best to impart such professional training to Asian youngsters. The best example of this would be the 2013 Champions League final. Among the players who started that night for both teams, ten were products of the German youth system. If Mario Goetze had not been injured for Dortmund and Toni Kroos and Holger Badstuber had started for Bayern the number would very well have been 13," said Ricken, a local Dortmund boy who cut his teeth at the same youth academy which he is currently heading.

Ricken was in Germany's 2002 World Cup squad on Asian soil following an impressive season as Dortmund's won the Bundesliga. But national coach Rudi Voeller did not pick him for any matches in Korea and Japan as the Germans lost in the final to Brazil.

Ricken is looking forward to the next professional chapter with an Asian theme. He would love to create the first Southeast Asian global star through the Dortmund youth academy. Ricken says he has learnt from the best and wants to pass the torch to a generation of emerging talent in football's fastest growing market.

"Mathias Sammer was my roommate when I was a youngster at Dortmund," said Ricken. "Sammer was the ultimate professional as were my other teammates Stefan Reuter and Jurgen Kohler, both of whom have won the World Cup, the Champions League and the Bundesliga. They would be in the training complex on time even during the off-season. They refrained from alcohol consumption during match days and while training. They slept on time. These are all small but important things if one has to be a successful professional footballer."

Ricken also reminisced about another victorious 1997 Champions League teammate -- the now Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert. "Lambert was also a very focused man, just like Sammer," said Ricken. "Both were tactically very evolved, and I am not surprised that Paul got into management. I hope he does well at Villa and goes on to manage a bigger club in the future."

Hans-Joachim Watzke: Marco Reus not drifting away from Borussia Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund are completely debt free

Hans-Joachim Watzke has told Ruhr Nachrichten that Marco Reus has not yet decided his future, but Borussia Dortmund's CEO is confident the Germany international will stay at his hometown club.

Reus, 25, missed Die Nationalmannschaft's last two games of 2014 with minor ankle problems, but could return for Dortmund in their match at local rivals Paderborn at the weekend.

Reus played 45 minutes in a test match against minor league side Havelse earlier this week and also completed full training sessions in the days that followed, with BVB coach Jurgen Klopp telling a news conference on Thursday that "Marco looks fit to play."

Dortmund, who are 15th in the Bundesliga -- and trail the Champions League qualifying positions by nine points -- will still be without centre-back Mats Hummels and long-term absentees Nuri Sahin, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Oliver Kirch, who Klopp says "are not as close as Reus" to full fitness.

The forward can reportedly trigger a 25 million-euro release clause at the end of the season, and despite being chased by a host of Europe's top clubs including domestic rivals Bayern Munich, Dortmund have not given up hope that Reus will stay at the Westfalenstadion.

"It's a fact that [Reus] identifies with the city, and even more so with BVB. There is a lot we can put in balance," Watzke said. "Marco is a great guy and he knows what he has here.

"I don't have the impression that he has drifted away from BVB for just a centimetre. Of course, we have set a date on which we want clarity, but this won't be in the upcoming weeks.

"We have other things to worry about right now. We need to get out of the relegation zone together, and then we'll see what happens this season. We also talk about a position, taken by admittedly a very important player. But BVB does not depend on [him]."

Watzke reiterated that Dortmund are now debt free, and could go without European football next season, saying: "That would not throw Dortmund back unlike in the past. Economically BVB are stronger than ever."

Still, a return to Champions League could be the main argument to convince Reus of staying at the club.

"BVB are still optimistic," Matthias Dersch of Ruhr Nachrichten told ESPN FC. "But it all hinges on the sporting development."

Once it happened and still happening... Obviously we can say the endurance for BvB this season not as strong as previous seasons. Players still fresh from injuries and not really surpass to fully fit expectation. From start of this season I see they really struggle to finish off whole 90 minutes unless get the early goal(s) and continue to dictate the game. Else the opponent surely able to get something and capitalise even the limited changes given.

Domestic opponent know they have to organise their position and/or cancelling Dortmund style of play then steal the chances (especially initiate overlapping or trough ball to pass the high line defence). For some reason they really do it good toward that such as playing to beat Dortmund is something special then the forms follow according to plan. Get early goal or don't let BvB get early goal than after one hour mark of play not much favour to the yellow side anymore. Only one match as I can remember that Dortmund manage to get 2 goals to get home draw against Stuttgart after struggle at first hour loosing 2 - 0, well courtesy to opponent choose to sit back. Else not much to enjoy after one hour mark. Seriously what happened?

At Europe level still manage to get the result as the priority to kill the game early still at favourable luck we have so far but still I don't see much convincing toward later stages. Dortmund got something to prove here that they willing to keep their head up until the end.

Another home lost to FC Augsburg the team that normally not much problem to get the point(s) with but they are now at 4th of the league. Despite play against 10 men still unable to get the goal. Altintop was really good to channel the attack for Augsburg this season.

What happened to Dortmund then... They keep playing the same way but the confident no longer there... Keeping play with urgent movement yet no precision on spreading the risky passes. Opponent already mark the players and park the bus. Immobile still not finding the net, no clinical striker around.

Midfielders and playmaker seems having difficulty to dictate the game as we know it. Keep moving forward with both quick passes and desperate release the ball once got pressure. No calmness and proper ball holding to accommodate the certain vision. Home debut for Kampl the new addition this time not so great as he miss the opportunity and still to adapt with the team. Mkhitaryan and Kagawa from the bench also not helping. Clueless...

Such a moment after the match as the keeper and Hummels go get close to the fans at the fence to console them and been gentlemen to receive the words from them. Next fixture another difficult one with Freiburg, need the kick start to gain back the winning ways.

What on earth happen to BVB09? If continues like this, no surprise other clubs will come knocking and shows Reus the exit door. sweat.gif

Marco Reus signs new Borussia Dortmund contract to 2019

Marco Reus has disappointed a host of top European clubs by signing a new contract with Borussia Dortmund. The deal ties the Germany forward to the club until 2019.

“I am very happy with my decision to stay at BVB,” said Reus. “Dortmund is my home town and Borussia simply my club. I am looking forward to a successful future with our team and our fantastic fans supporting us. There is a lot to do and I want to be part of that.”

The German newspaper Kicker reports that Reus has turned down an offer at Real Madrid in order to sign the deal at his hometown club, while he has been regularly linked with moves to the Premier League – with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City all mentioned as possible destinations – previously this season.

Dortmund’s managing director, Hans-Joachim Watzke, compared the impact and legacy that Reus could have at the club to that of Steven Gerrard at Liverpool, while the sporting director, Michael Zorc, also expressed his delight.

“He has shown that his heart beats for his hometown and for his hometown club with this decision,” said Zorc. “He is a very important part of Borussia Dortmund’s future.”

So many time conceded due to loose ball and the opponents frequently able to convert chances and BvB unable to provide favour result even so many shot on goal for every matches. Juventus is kind of scary opponent if this keep happening.

Think Dortmund really need new center defender. Subotic looks like liability to the squad.

Up to 10th. 9 points away from champions league spot. Things looking good for Dortmund. nod.gif

Dortmund have to take that lost justly enough by bringing single (gifted) away goal back home by look-in 2nd leg while restoring the pride on domestic fight.

Still got some issues on finishing and keeping head up till the end. Some team struggle to find ways to break the final third, but not really for this team just need finishing and last-ditch decision once reach to what its matters.

An assertive home-coming of confidence and relevant style of plays perceptibly there but as usual humble mistake and quick break by opponent from loose ball always nightmare with this nervous high line defence. First half Juve got 2 on target and both converted nicely. Well kind of similar happened during first half Bundesliga season.

Maintaining momentum always a key part toward success as this season clearly the impact of consequences bringing intensity clarifies with challenge and difficulties that provide such pressure for us to feel friction or fulfilment at the end.

Wonder where he going next... One of most sporting coach that prefer positive football yet frequently falls to opponent trap and gamesmanship plays that cancel the rhythm. He quite good with developing the talent or might be about time he handle the squad with luxury resources.

Really fast plays by BvB. Free role for Reus roaming around right and left. Formation from 4-1-4-1 changes during play once got the ball players quickly run to space to receive the ball. Another Borussia (Monchengladbach) side used to be good like a boogey team for Bayern. Well Bayern just stumped Hamburg (boogey team for Dortmund). Like to seeing this reset season going well through and through.

Kagawa should grab his share by convert the chance given in-front of goal rather keep doing assists. So great to watch Aubameyang on form and maintain his sharpness. Though Ramos wanna join the score sheet but seems wide until the Batman finish it off. Please keep this healthy condition even the domination Bayern with currently hundred-percenter on top of Bundesliga there seems like another shadow of success season for them. Sometime beside to concern own team to perform week in week out, other teams also need to head up to perform well against the Champion. (Hehe... BvB failed to do so at first episode this season...)

They've set the Bundesliga on fire! Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are two of the deadliest strikers in Europe at the moment – there is simply no stopping them. By the end of Matchday 11 they'd both hit 13 goals each and both had broken records along the way. Now they have Gerd Müller's record 40-goal haul for a season in their sights. Relive their 26 goals in 11 Matchdays.

The Chemistry among players now been translated in good form on the field and some of them really do performing well. Well balance in the middle to let RAM the attacking trio do the damage freely.

Experiencing on extortion and exhaustion of 'Gegenpressing' so many years really affecting physically and mentally on the long run that clearly prone to small mistake and exposed some space that vulnerable toward counter by opponent even loosing couple seconds of recovery can be neutralized by get punished justly enough to breakdown the team.

Not to say what past is no longer appreciated.. That was really useful experience and they still do this kind of method on pressing opponent out of no where and catch them by surprise but overall the team more calm and more focus. More important is still maintain the willingness to win until the end as last season hardly to perpetuate the form after one hour mark of the game.

Whatever expectation toward this team, currently in healthy manners with record of the best second place team based on points and improvement of clean sheet numbers. Anyway have to admit other Bundesliga teams beside the leader not consistent enough but still maintain as the most conversion rate among major league in Europe. The competitiveness still there and don't let the silly mistake , you will get punished...

Rationale view seems like continuing the improvement for being the highest points record for 2nd place together with repeating the routine speculations as regards to almost every end of seasons about the status of key players.

There's light on reckoning toward getting better and on track for another greatness but certain attempt to break the harmony by pack up the Moon and dismantle the sun will stunt the peace of mind once again.

Yes another youngster continue the tradition of club producing the player that can deliver in higher level so as the respectable senior should believe the team can deliver further ahead without feeling so much intimidated by other team out there especially toward closing stage of major echelon of tourneys.

Speculations are normal but stealing the headline near finish line kind of deceptive and abusive acts of practice. Previous case by manipulate the system by trigger the clause seeing the team advancement make the player himself, team and fans felt so bad/hurt; now another cloud to convince the path blocking the shine once another main man to consider his future even with valid reason of now or never. Even not as big final like UCL, just domestic cup but you may know what it mean dear...

2 Senior players gone, please not another couple star-performers. How get used to it being apply here will not going to promise anything in long run beside show to the world how resilience we are toward recovering and building new Yellow Wall spirits among team.

Initially great to hear bot Batman and Robin seems commit to the club but Auba still vulnerable if ridiculous offers come-in knockin' the door. Another rest for Reus and absent again from Country Call for Euro. So he surely secure another season, well not much concern about his loyalty as local here.

Too bad not secure the new contract for Henrikh Mkhitaryan as no point to let him go for free next season if better offers come in to lure him out. Typical influence by agent here even Mkhi clearly happy to play under T. Tuchel but not everybody knows about their own future. Let be Lewandowski as the worthy main man play until end of contract.

Another rebuilding in the process, but please be more convincing both transfer and target performance for upcoming season. So expecting another challenging next season, as long able to pressure the Champion, respectable in Europe and won both Revierderby as well keep the playing with good brand of football should be good enough.

Definition of Big Club to show who's the Boss around here... Buyern can do what they want within so called professional manners... They does not tap players or doing illegally on many business they did, just secure and manipulate politically moved to strengthen the squad and/or weakened the rivals. To prove foundation and mentally strong enough to compete with all other Europe Giant out there, meanwhile other clubs perhaps still stuck with domestic sentiment and local pride. Based on individual perception to see this as Big club bully the small club not rather than story of "Kulub Kechil buli Kulub Besar... "

Meanwhile as for new signing still subject to Tuchel plan and player to deliver. Unproven? yes... later signing mostly more technical players to groom with but definitely need the traits of stronghold to absorb and contain the opponent before 3 - 4 technical players do their attacking moves. Rode can see his slot as DM or Anchor as centre-defense might be vulnerable since not sure they still can be reliable and capable to be as ball-playing defender like Hummels. Nobody expect Wiegl really shines and mostly involve in stopping, sweeping and build-up play role in the middle on his first remarkable season with Dortmund (... and yet Bayern have an interest as well). This department quite important for Rode to partner or dictate the stability to ensure the depth of choices beside Castro as another good CM for the squad.

Believe me.. many might interest to eye on this club even *Cough TMJ Cough* but must deal with mutual respect with local strong expectation and sentiment similar like some other main clubs in Europe. We'll see if Germany did it in Euro, follows by another breakthrough by Bundesliga clubs in UCL/Europa with marketing closing the gap to that 2 most watchable Football league in the world. Achievable by hoping to maintain the domestic value whether thru great ventures of Sugar Daddy and clubs consortium or total ownership but keeping as many figures of club around without much interference to culture expectations.

Really unfortunate for BVB, groom a lot of young talent and got "betrayed" by them.
by not renewing their contract to push out their move to bayern/ other teams.

Hummels: I left Dortmund for Bayern to win Champions League

Gotze has made zero progress at Bayern - Netzer

Both stories tell ONE thing = Bayern stay top by prying away their opponents top players, they didn't strengthen their squad, they just weaken their opponents squad just enough to stay #1.

Gotze should move on, as for Hummels - best of luck bye.gif

Hummels already through and through from the critical time of rescuing the club generally while joining last time together with rebuilding process. That’s motivate to thrive all his might toward being one of the best defender surrounding with the changes of team mate for years. Even some of them really flourished well before goes to other clubs but the belief still there until series of key players gone to make it such annual concerns to deal with. Anyone in centre stage of mind also have to admit this disease will not promise anything in near time as his prime also going to be diminished with the age. Good luck to him anyway, near missed once does not mean you are not going to miss for the attempts on next few chances/editions though… but you’ll be missed alright then…

Moving forward, Andre Schurrle in imminent stage to join the club as BvB have to admit the depth of the squad really important for next season besides grooming the talents the hunger from experienced side to juggle the expectation and build up the right chemistry toward consistent result is something worth to venture with. No idea on the return of Prodigal Son, one thing for sure Reus will not fully fit for next first half of the season. Hopefully his return to training next month or September will boost the morale and expecting whoever Mor (raw newbie), Dembele (prospect), Pulisic / Passlack (promising), Schurrle ( Tuchel to unleash his true gem) or even if the homecoming materialised could able to perform well for all competition.

Suddenly squad getting bigger but sceptically concerned on total balance as knowing in Bundesliga you cannot stick with certain style of plays or stagnant tactics as technically opponent might able to find the antidote and counter measure the weakness somewhere. Previous season have to admit everything clicked together but other rivals bit dropped nothing similar like 2014/15 as other teams performed quite well and as usual the consistencies are the focal points to keep pressure the Champion.

The depth of selection quite healthy right now and chemistry build-up among team play quite enjoyable to watch overall. Earlier Leipzig surprisingly won last minute after absorb all pressure from (basically) the best line-up Thomas Tuchel can offer that day. Realized on upcoming busy fixtures he made proper rotation before dealing with more challenging opponents for final weeks of September.

Starting the season with wondering how he going to accommodate the quality of Euro winner Guerreiro to compete position with the Captain (Schmelzer) at left back. Well both playing quite well and compliment each other with option to put Guerreiro to the middle with his composure and vision able to balance the attack tremendously. The result of last 3 matches with 17 goals by 12 different scorer really something to ponder upon.

Well the real test are around the corner even last contest at Wolfsburg by 5 goals with good shares among the players all about accuracy with no off target from team effort. Wolfsburg lead by (respectable) ex-player Kuba as the captain and the presence of Mario Gomez as well Draxler just unlucky with many wasteful chances. Dortmund just manage taking advantage with nice thru-pass between their high line defense and good movement of teenage winger (Dembele & Pulisic).

4-1-4-1 formation working fine right now with last few matches but wondering what strategy to face Real Madrid next week. Also worries on Bartra recent injury might allow Tuchel to consider another defensive midfielder to pair with Wiegl and to see the in-form Gonzalo Castro or Goetze to support the attacking force.

Managed to watch only first half really good game too bad dozed off during interval. Will watch remaining minutes tonight. Seems like this season got many impact players. So many chances and exciting moment just missed end product .Dembele need to improvise his decisive finishing touch. The Champion maintain for being effective as experience guide them to deliver the result until the super sub deliver his charm to deny Real Madrid to get first Champion League match win at Dortmund ground.

Great Der Klassiker win... Huge goal with delicate touch by Auba... and Gotze nutmegged Hummel too...

...and relatively new club RB Leipzig in seven (years old) heaven right now. Last time thought of luck and good morale forms make them good team beat Dortmund early season's fixture, well they excel and no turning back afterward. Still long way to go and quite fascinating season so far...

We didn't make it to the UCL semis, but given what the team had to go through and yet put on a show for the fans, that's worth something.

Hope they recover from that incident and focus on Pokal , and finish top 3 !

Well for the last three games Borussia took 0 points, and I'm starting to worry about it. We have already forgotten what means to be a champion. The most stupid that Bayern replaced coach at this season, but all the same they are at the first place right now. We've got the most talented striker (not only I think so), one of the best European passer, and even with them we can't score to Munich. It's really a curse!

Too bad. Knocked out due to retaken penalty. The pause trick for sure will affect movement reaction. Single goal ahead of second leg not enough just to absorb attack without getting better cushion advantage.

We've lost 2 regulars now.

Guerreiro & Bellingham.
Interested to see how we re-invest the money from Bellingham's sale.

How many more +1yr contract can we afford to give Reus laugh.gif age has certainly caught up with him

a rather quiet transfer window for the Black & Yellow this round, no new faces aside from Nmecha, Sabitzer and Bensebaini.

idk la, last season all the regulars koyak, especially bayern - but gotta hand it to Leverkussen, they really had lady luck to win it, so many games is extra-time goal that saved their bums laugh.gif

even if peak BVB under Klopp/Tuchel cannot surpass Luckykusen's 23/24 season, this season can see their luck slowly running out laugh.gif

tbh didn't expect Kompany to take bayern so high up, yes he did have experience in bringing Burnley back into EPL but not enough to STAY in the EPL, tak sangka yang buat burnley relegated boleh jadi top man kat Bayern and slaying it in the Buindesiga siot.. that goal difference they have is some scary shiat

at least BVB run in UCL seems to be quite well in the new format, aside from the 5-2 whallop from Real Madrid, we're pretty steady - takde bundelisga, ada UCL pun syok la laugh.gif

With Kane in team BM will win this term bruce.gif

Even Kane old team already sinking ship so badly rclxub.gif

Next i think Son will leave and hopefully join forces back with old mate in BM hahahaha

As for Dortmund they just are cursed since Lewan left to Bayern and now full fledged veteran with Barcelona hohohoho
