Immobile is a clinical stiker, with weaknesses in combination play.
Lewandowski is one of the best strikes when facing the goal with his back, which is totally different to Immobile.
Nevertheless Immobile got a rapid acceleration and reads the game very well, probably better than Lewandowski. Immobiles strength become quite clear when he is in the process of pressing and counter attacking, which is right what defines Dortmund's strength, probably they are even the team bringing that to perfection most. But with a deep defending opponent team Immobile has work to be done.
Ramos who was the first signing is different compared to Immobile, even though he is quite clinical striker himself too. He loves rapid combinations and is very creative, on top of that he is very good in the air.
Ramos is a signing which gives Klopp the option to be unpredictable, something they were missing lately. Ramos will create space for Reus Mchitarjan and Kuba. Maybe Klopp will sometimes even let both, Immobile and Ramos play and change the formation to 4-1-3-2 (originally 4-2-3-1) especially in the national league since many teams play a 4-4-2 or even a 5-4-1 standing very deep when facing Dortmund.

So all in all, they might have lost a world class striker, but just like when Götze left last year and they signed Mchitarjan they used this to get a highly variable team, which strengths is to hinder a organized build up play of opponents and have rapid counter attacks once taking possession and using the few seconds when the opponent is not yet organized again. They lost a brilliant player, but as a team they will be stronger than ever before and that's what distinguished them from many teams in the past.
