the load from roof & the 1st floor slab & wall all transfer to the column, think twice if just want to remove it just like that the proper way is consult a structure engineer, build/ enlarge the beam to transfer the load to nearest column --> foundation , if the column/ foundation not strong enough, build/ enlarge the column/ foundation
