I think it is only for web service version, like the bfbcs.com. Like the site, you have to queue to get update on your stats, that's what I read and think.

Origin and Battlelog is separated. Origin is game manager/downloader for EA while Battlelog is focused on BF3. And Battlelog is the core of BF3. Without it, u cant play BF3. Coz there is no in-game server browser.

^ means no internet, no single player campaign for you. Not a problem for me, but maybe to some. Why cant they integrate server browser like valve? Fast and smooth.

Not a game client, its a server browser. You choose a server from this website and launch the game from there to join. Why no server browser in game? Ask DICE.. Sucks? yea..but u will get used to it.
Sure got SG servers...malaysia not so fast. But i believe Malaysia Battlefield Team (MBT) will host a server sometime later.

Yup..confirmed. I dont know how friendly is battlelog. I can now foresee myself closing down the whole game coz disconnected and re-run it from the browser again. Time for more rams and some SSDs.

imagine if you always get kicked because of ping spike.. always happen in BC2.. damn.. now im disappointed..

every1 is disappointed since EA decided tht bf3 is nt going to be on Steam, then you MUST need origin to play, then you cant change your Origin name, then your origin name is your bf3 in game name, then 1 account with only 1 character basis, then must launch through battlelog, then..*more to come*

* LAN support not present initially, but may come later via a patch
* There won't be an in-game server browser - this will all go through Battlelog
* Very high ceiling for the maps
* Jets will stall at high altitudes
* Mini robot [EOD] can repair tanks and arm crates.
* Mini robot [EOD] can carry around and place explosives
* Mini robot [EOD] can be taken out via one rocket hit
* Scout helicopters present
* No fog used to limit draw distance in the game
* Aircraft carriers exist, but they can't be controlled.

Used as scout chopper and probably with the M134 Gattling system , it's for close support also
