QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Aug 19 2011, 05:36 PM) yeah actually it still can inmprove your peddal respond but not tune it lah, 32 bit ECU can learn driver driving style, so if will always drvie more actively it will adopt and learn, your car respond will be different. It retune it self according to drive style. QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Aug 19 2011, 05:38 PM) really got such thing? huge improvement on acceration? Added on August 19, 2011, 5:40 pm i think u r confused. none PE which using 16bits ECU cannot tune the pedal sensor. only PE with 32bits ECU able to tune the pedal sensor. |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Aug 22 2011, 12:00 PM) Just to clarify, I won't come out when talking abt Jelly, Durex and Vaseline coz I need not use any. So got no experience in those stuff due to my users always produce enuf lubrication without me needing to add in more oil and addictives. Since all my users are certified clean, safety is a non-issue... QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Aug 22 2011, 12:05 PM) QUOTE(xandras @ Aug 22 2011, 12:08 PM) Brake light switch lo.. It comes and goes.. QUOTE(xandras @ Aug 22 2011, 01:04 PM) For brakes.. no need hope lah.. If u've driven a M/B-line before then u'll be more than grateful with ur H-line brakes now. U just need to do hard braking a bit more often to bed in ur brake pads properly, and then it'll be fine. Ya, for H line only at the beginning the brake a bit noisy. After that, it is quite smooth and good.Added on August 22, 2011, 1:18 pmPlus.. I dun think even the Civic have illuminated buttons on steering wheel.. Am I rite? Added on August 22, 2011, 1:20 pm I'm not quite sure about manual PEs, but it could be throttle response delay as u mentioned. Try ask manual old-timers like hammie for more info. Eh, can ask Talk Cock King aka dorinyeah mah. He also using manual. QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Aug 22 2011, 01:24 PM) Orang Minyak say cannot is cannot. 30 weight oil viscosity is lower and your car engine is not exactly new.So, why take the risk? |

QUOTE(ngeo88 @ Aug 22 2011, 05:36 PM) yup try search back the CPS engine info, there are a extra round blue colour thing for cooling the engine oil. 0W-40 Edge Sport from Tesco. As mentioned by Orang Minyak, you can try to use the 30 weighted oil but your engine lifespan will be shorter lah if used for longer term. As for Xan case, the car also not his own now. Any problem later also not his problem oredi. Added on August 22, 2011, 5:38 pm he test only 5k km mah ...where got side effect, Zeng now are using Edge 0w-30 .....? QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Aug 23 2011, 07:29 AM) Summary from my findings... Caltex = best power, but higher FC than Esso. Very quiet engine. Esso = best balance between power and FC. Better low end torque. Engine noisier than Caltex above 3.5k RPM. Petronas = Very good FC, but lesser power than Caltex and Esso. Shell = Might as well leave the car at home and walk. Gives good FC, but huge sacrifice in power. So ended up u accelerate and drop gear more often, then ur FC also go up. Zeng's patented secret recipe. 55% Caltex, 45% Petronas mixture. Best FC ever achieved in a PE and power maintain the same as if u were using pure Caltex petrol. 55% Petronas, 45% Caltex, FC slightly marginally higher than the above mixture and lesser power. 45% Petronas, 55% Esso, low end torque is acceptable but high end power not there. Edge Sport is 0W-40 lah.. I baru pour in for my car the other day.. One thing that can affect the performance also is if the foreman overfilled ur engine oil, thus cancelling the effects and causing ur engine to be heavier. Syntium800 isnt that bad also.. Castrol engine oils are not that superior in performance compared to other brands like Eneos, but the performance of the engine will be maintained over the service life of the engine oil. Unlike Eneos, Shell and Petronas (as tested b4), the engine oil will degrade over time and the engine feels heavier.. Added on August 23, 2011, 7:32 am I think italian grade Castrol Edge Sport lah.. That fella italiano fella.. Er, you published here already means that it is now public knowledge oredi. As for Italian grade, maybe he try to import it to here. |
