A friend is asking for my help to flash his current Samsung Galaxy SL to gingerbread. Is there is no full instructions how to flash gingerbread on SL?

go to Post 3 and set your APN base on your telco....to send and received mms you have to enable packet data.

Hey man, so what is your thought about XXKPH? Better than KPE? Want to hear your thoughts about our new ROM, and don't copy and paste from either misledz or spacebar feedbacks, hehe. I'm still waiting for a stable CWM or CF-Root release before flashing the new ROM.

LoL..actually their feedbacks are most accurate in that forum..as for me, XXKPH is just like XXKPE..nothing is new, still no UI enhancement like CRT, overscroll effect etc..Hmm performance is slightly better..battery i think last long, camera shots improve in the dark/gps working fast, no kernel panic issues for now(but u may experiencing auto restart in un-compatible apps eg. adfree, superuser, CWM manager and so on..the good news from this is no need to pullout the battery).Not so sure about play video issue (eg mkv). The only thing i didn't try is vanilla CWM as i already applied the CF-Root..so what do u think..interested to flash? hehe Owh one think i forgot, Nama customrom will be release this week for XXKPH n for XXKPE u still got a chance to test UltimateSL customrom by Rex..hmmm thats all from me

Samsung already release 2.3.4 for Samsung Galaxy S, where is SL?

Wow, thanks for the detailed feedback man So tempted to flash KPH now, haha. Just doesn't want to sacrifice all my theme and mods that I have applied for my KPE (eventhough there is Nandroid and I also heard that KPE theme is compatible with KPH, you have tested it?) I think I'll just stay with KPE for a while until the devs have ported some more themes and either Nama or rex have complete and delivered their custom ROMs for KPH. Nope, although kpe theme seems to work with kph, we don't know about the compability effects in a long time. yeah I think your choice is right my frenz..better njoy ur kpe till everything is ready to serve

sry i couldnt get wht u mean. but if u mean that swaping ur internal sd wif external sd.

unless u have back it up somewhere , I guess its notbpossible ..

if you save the pic in external SD, maybe some data restoration software can help you? I am not sure abt this

i believe russian kies / SL users already have XXKPH offered officially...

now the long hard wait for DXKPH I guess... (My old ACE took from June till now still no release)
