was thinking about this crazy idea of having laser tag ground in harbour place klang like playing counter-strike live. some of its floor is quite run down n nobody is renting

tried the laser tagging you mentioned once before....

it was chaos... you didnt know if your shot was successful, or were you shot? maybe the electronics the one i was at sucked but its a consideration if the playability isnt there.. good concept though..

anyways, all the time we had guys holding on to other peoples back and shooting the laser gun,, chaos... sad.gif

anyone from JB? wall climbing is getting quite popular but not a single location in town yet. smile.gif an opportunity?

ossd,

Not sure how much the pitching machine would cost. But I still prefer basketball court as it's a more popular sports among Malaysian Chinese.

yeah i know basketball is more popular but basketball when i was young.. we just played in schools or any neighbourhood tamans...

now once in a while we go either to the chinese association hall, majilis courts and sometimes even in this church. ( they quite cool about us playing as long as we pick up our rubbish after us)

baseball is quite foreign i know but theres that novelty factor... dont ask me why but its quite shiok trying to hit a ball speeding 80km/hr at your face. lol

and the space i went to had 2 floors.. had 6 cages in total... about 10' wide x maybe 40' long each with different ball speeds, had a small booth that sells drinks and ciggies and stuff, and a punching station and a small arcade... had lots of school kids there, guys were goofing around and showing off and girls were giggling.... but it was near a shopping mall and train station. total land size maybe 2 of our regular 20x70 shophouses maybe?

but its just something i picked up from travelling... might work might not work who knows...

i remembered seeing the sticker machines in 1999 in tokyo... and kids were crazy over them too and thinking to myself wouldnt it be nice if we had some of those machines in malaysia back then.. smile.gif

cheers!
