The Mac version has fairly liberal system requirements, with CS:GO looking for an Intel Core Duo processor with 2GHz or better, 2GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 2400 or better or a NVidia 8600M or better.

PC and Mac are crossplatform, previously was announced to be crossplatform for both console and PC, but they took back the word as its troublesome blablabla.

i've been playing this on my noble dell inspiron laptop with default video settings at normal widescreen resolutions... and it is as smooth as silk though i get some lags after hours playing it (may be the video card gets too hot)..

it is quite a good game especially with the current price tag.. but i think MW is far more smother than this.. may be it will get better after a couple of updates...

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz
Nvidia 9400M with 256MB shared memory
4GB RAM

turned out to be laggy even after i put everything on low settings. pretty disappointed. are there anything that i can try(settings) before i decided to uninstall this game and waste my RM50 ?

dude, take these things into consideration

1. put all your graphic details to the lowest
2. your hardware is 4-5 years old
3. those requirements are probably minimum, enough to get the game running

what you should do now is set everything to the lowest and see whether your fps improves
