i see.. so i guess the agility 3 is backwards compatible with sata2... this 4830TG has AHCI mode in BIOS?

i just leave mine on charger 24/7... so far no prob... i'm sure the engineers have installed a circuit to bypass the battery when it's full...

btw, i just installed an SSD drive and upgrade to 8GB DDR3 on my 4830TG lastnite... unbelievable difference in performance!!

finished reading, i think i roughly had an idea on what it is now. faster, lighter, less heat, bigger storage, last longer, is that right? thank you

Added on April 7, 2012, 11:30 pmmy battery's wear level is 3% but my battery shows 4 hours remaining at 95%?? i only hav 3 browsers on.. no wifi, no bluetooth, lowest display brightness.

Just installed the original 750GB drive in the DVD-ROM bay using a caddy drive bay.. Now i got 160GB Intel X25-M SSD for primary (windows), 750GB for storage and another 1TB on USB3.0 for Backup... Now waiting for my external Blu-ray burner to arrive...

Now my 4830TG has become a perfect mobile photo n video editing pc for me.. smile.gif

Did u clone your original 750GB HDD or u installed fresh windows on the SSD? Where did u buy the caddy drive bay?

fresh install Win 7 Ultimate X64 on my SSD.. hehe.. bought it from LYN also, here... biggrin.gif

Added on April 11, 2012, 2:38 ambtw, it's very easy to swap out the DVD-ROM with caddy drive on this 4830TG... just 1 screw, and will not temper any warranty sticker at all... rclxms.gif
