QUOTE(mhz @ Sep 12 2011, 10:48 PM)
Refer 1st page, post #2
I was informed there is a contractor assigned to ensure cleanliness of this place as it's 'Hutan Lipur' for recreational purpose.
Understood that this contractor is scheduled to clean Nuang's peak once a month and Camp Lolo - every week.

If you found some place is quite dirty, you may snap a pix and file your report to the Ranger down the hill.

Even there's a contractor assigned to keep this place clean, it's still our responsibility to maintain the cleanliness around all area.

hi all ~ stumble upon this thread. Like the stories and information shared here

@laucn May i ask regarding your Hutan Simpanan Ayer Hitam @ Puchong trip? You started from which entry point? I read there is a path from Bdr Kinrara side and curious to find where exactly.

thx!

hi all jungle peeps. if u want to go nuang , make sure you understand, 2PM TURN BACK WHEREVER YOU ARE! Otherwise you get stuck in the middle of the jungle like the unfortunates in the link below :

( if u hero(ine ) like happy , u can hike at night )

read the stories below :

Nuang 1 - Sep 17th 2011

Nuang 2 - Sep 18th 2011

damn those hero-wanna be but dun prepare well

QUOTE(happy4ever @ Sep 23 2011, 03:36 PM)
haha

tonite 9pm to 10pm will be hiking up at night again at Nuang.

Then start come down tomorrow (Sat) 9pm again also.

Lots of people hike at night la. No worry la. Easy route...very humid/misty, quiet, cooling and syok. Light candle on pondok, enjoy nature, hisap marlboro ice, fuuuu syok.

Added on September 23, 2011, 3:46 pmAnd going up nuang always come prepared with the most basic survival kit, which always include first aid, knife/parang, fire lighting tools, and headlamp.

And good shoes is a must, and walk slowly but safely. dont rush like an hero, sure kantoi.

hope u get the summit this time, good luck

Added on September 25, 2011, 12:49 pmand i don like camping with anything more than 4 ppl. so troublesome if so many. lol.
