IMHO,
the beautiful scene from my childhood, till now.... the rock facing to KL are simply the best view...

and its getting developed on one side of the hill, which i believe will become places where developer placed their
kondo on the side road from karak hiway to melawati.

10 years back, it was, like living outside the KL... with those scenery...

Belum Forest, the jungle that scares me a lot last time...

yeah the entry is Felda Kahang. but the 4x4 track is not hardcore one, normal 4x4 can tapau this track. but when four of our 4x4 speed during plantation track feels like Dakar Rally LOL

Last time i been there we go through hardcore tracks...takes 8 hours to reach the campsite...The campsite is like an island of sand...in between two rivers...
The next day from the first campsite to the last camp takes about 2 hours...

no need to buy hammock with net la bro. because you will feel someday the net is useless and tedious.

just buy normal hammock named crocodile RM15. it has double layer in it. so you will sleep inside the between layers.



p/s on hammock with net : it will give u creeps. because your view is always can be viewed by 'others'

Went for templer's park on Sat afternoon. Went up looking for camping then see see jungle path not cleared. So much semak samun. Even monkey sound all missing, eerily quiet. Saw a hancured pondok... then head back try another clearer path. follow rubbish trail. My friend got scratch by a thorn from a plant, bleeding on the foot so head back down...(got many leeches too)

settle on the plain grassy area by the river just 2 or 3 min from car park. Set up my hammock to test... test test test until few hours later the stupid sewing gave way...and landed on my butt. lolz.... had hexamine canned food for dinner, then 10pm head back down makan BBQ in friends house.

Then later found out templer park is keras.. hahahaa such a pity that place got such thing and dumb idiots go beg it for loterry number end up all mati. We go there to respect jungle and everything in it, even hantu...so no worries

just came back from nuang. reached the peak , but i have to say , nuang is a b!tch, it drains u physically and more importantly , MENTALLY.

never going back there AGAIN!

but...never know, after tidur , might change mind again ...lol...

hahaha thats why i keep going there. Nothing beats a great workout. Mental challenge. Best is when its raining heavily while you're hiking in the dark at night. lol.

good thing there's 6 pondoks, so can rest, enjoy fresh air, and hisap rokok to keep the insects away
