Look at all my stars!!
|
First match of the season not much expectation plus our first team affected by the departure of Cesc and Nasri. Yesterday's match is to evaluate our team. To fix some minor bugs in the formation, what player to sign in every department, and most important thing is the morale and the attitude of the players.
Getting 1 point in St James Park is always tough. Newscastle always not an easy team to win. Even during Henrys' era, winning team is not certain.
I am satisfied overall but Gervinho's red is abit dissapointing as he misses Liverpool and Man Utd match

In the end United won. But i still remember lots of Arsenal fan questioning Wenger why he didn't buy David De Gea at Soccernet forum some times ago and i repeatedly said that Arsenal already have good goalkeeper at their disposal but they hit back at me by saying Wojciech and Fabianski lacks of experience and not a big name/ top rated player to play for a club as Arsenal. Sometime i find they really love to 'underrate' their own player.
Some people tend to believe in 'hype' created by media and journalist or maybe stats from their video games. But actually it is hard to make a decent signing and make sure the player fit well into the system. And it must take into account that these new player will take some time to familiarize with their new environment especially foreigner, not just in pitch but in their everyday life too. You can't fault Tevez, Reyes or Mascherano for being homesick or hate England weather. Each individual have unique tolerance. If they not happy probably they will not perform well.
There are so many things that must take into consideration before make any signings. I give you another example, if you remember Miguel Angel Angulo. He supposed to signed for Arsenal during 2003 or 2004 but he change his mind last minute after take some time touring inside Highbury. If i'm not wrong the reason he didn't sign for Arsenal because he not confident he can adapt to English environment. Glad he realize earlier, or else i don't know what will happen for him and the club at that time.

Hi guys I might be visiting London early next year and plan to attend an Arsenal home match. Is anyone here familiar with their ticketing system? I found some 3rd party websites but the tickets are so pricey. Thanks!

QUOTE(Sniperwolf1987 @ Aug 15 2011, 01:18 AM) Oh ya, forgot to ask 'where's manutd thread??' Thx for advise ya, this thread are fun !! Relax. You should think carefully. Why should i do this? Is it necessary? I make a mistake yesterday and i really felt awkward after that for tainted Gunners LYN and myself reputation. Thankfully those at NUFC willing to let it go. Afterall, you don't wanna people to stereotype the behaviour of you favourite club's supporter right?
