don't worry.. 2nd half, we'll bring in mata and tevez and we'll change the formation to 4-4-2 so we have 2 players inside the D area for crosses..

kieran gibbs looks like he reached his maturity in his game. I was hoping I'd see some major performance from him compared to last season, but mehh...

Without cesc or jack, who could actually take the midfield role? Aaron has potential, but he's not there yet. Hoping for some entertaining 2nd half.

Jesus. WTF is with the negativity?

I actually quite like what I'm seeing this first half. Granted, some of the players do seem a bit rusty (eg Rosicky and Arshavin) but overall we're still controlling the game. No clear cut chances so far for either side, but to be fair Newcastle is defending quite deep whenever we have the ball.

Gervy looks lively but his decision-making needs sharpening. I don't see any reason for the Rosicky bashing that's slowly gaining momentum here - he's doing fine without any major mishaps. If anything, Rambo seems to give away more cheap balls although he fights to get it back every time

Go easy on Gibbs. His first 45 minutes isn't any worse than Clichy.

So that's how you cope from all this sort of problems in our team. Can I have some of that thing you smoking?

C'mon guys. Arsenal are playing competetively withoust Cesc and Nasri, so its bound to be a tad unfamiliar to them

This is a tamed Newcastle side, one without Nolan. But even then, they know how to handle Arsenal. Pack the defense and hit on the counter. The question now is, how does Arsene change his tactics? Clearly we lack penetration, so we go deep in the wing. I'm hoping that this team will prove me wrong comes the end of the 2nd half.

Oh and to mr. Nice Guy Rosicsky, show some grit la. Always looking down...haiz.
