Try to format it using N8 itself? Use the file manager. Trust me, if I have problems to format my memory cards, my N8 never fail to do so
Can you teach me how step-by-step? ThanksNokia N8 - V31 - [The King of Camera Phones], BELLE - N8 Run Like Monkey Kena Belacan!

With my previous Nokia, I could do this:
1. Open up photo (that has geo tag) 2. Press Option allows me to tell the phone to show me where that particular photo was taken. It does that by automatically opening up OVI MAPS. 3. Once OVI MAPS shows where that photo was taken, I simply select "Drive" and GPS navigation kicks in. I don't seem to see that possible with the N8. Or am I missing something? BTW, I am on 011.012 firmware. |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Aug 19 2011, 03:45 PM) Nokia seems to be a bit biased to users from this region.some from sg oso reported missing split screen input Biased? Tell that to any Maxis N8 owner. They know more about biase then you possibly could. Split screen or no split screen, they aren't going to get any of it. |

Nokia Malaysia said N8 is the only one not getting Anna yet. So how come it's available for so many of you people? There are also people saying the Anna from Nokia Malaysia is the Global version by mistake so no Bahasa and Chinese.

I have both free WiFi and Telco data listed as Access Point with WiFi given the 1st priority, 2nd is Telco Internet and Telco WAP was't even listed as Access Point.
But I have notice that widget will override that prority and uses Telco WAP data transmission. What's happening? This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Aug 20 2011, 10:56 AM |

I have a big but basic problem with Maps 3.06. I can not find any where to create Landmark. Google said it's in Menu/Application/Location. But there is no such "location" in my phone.
Kind of getting a bit desperate here. |

QUOTE(andrekua @ Aug 20 2011, 11:58 PM) Belle also useless now. Nokia already decided to move on. Had it been on N8 since launching, what a difference it would have been. It's still haven't released yet says it all. Nokia's lost is our gain. You can get it super cheap on Maxis mid year sales for RM949 only. 12 months for RM68 (250MB for RM38 plus RM30 value talk plan).Finnish pride too high, need an American to tell them to shut up and start copying if you can't innovate. It does a brilliant job. |

For a brand new N8, the free RAM is about 170MB
If you have it done at Care Center, how much free RAM do you get after flashing and installing new Anna? This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Aug 25 2011, 12:10 PM |

I have lots of photo in my N8. After I upgraded to Anna, I couldn't find any of them but I know they must still be in the N8 E:Mass memory somewhere (because the memory size remains unchanged before and after Anna). So how to solve this problem?

Hi. Need some pointers here.
1. I done it once but couldn't find it again. How to get to Positioning Method for the Maps? 2. My photos don't seem to be able to auto-rotate when viewing horizontally. This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Aug 25 2011, 04:56 PM |

I once remember seeing a OVI store apps that will automatically lock the phone when you put into your pocket and unlock automatically when you pull out of the pocket. Anyone know what's it's name?
Found it. http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/reviews/ite...Pocket_Lock.php This post has been edited by Optiplex330: Aug 26 2011, 02:24 PM |
