If it's caused by WHatsapp, you can only shutdown the software I suppose?

confirm it's whatsapp.

easy. Just switch wlan auto scan to off. Then go to connectivity then setting. For data use in home country, just go for wlan only.
That way whatsapp application will only connect if you got connection to any wifi. Hope that helps.

But in the process of checking whether you got the required WLAN or not, it will do scanning and wasting battery. That's why I uninstalled Whatsapp.

If you have what's app pls uninstall it

latest : i restored my hp, n uninstall whatsapp d.. but the problem still same.. keep on auto connected to wifi.. @@'' pengsan..

That means there are other apps that need to access Internet. Those I could think of are:
1. news widget
2. weather widget
3. Email set to retrival "soonest"
4. If your GPS is set to "online" etc and you open any program that requires GPS like photo (with geo-tag) etc.

delete your Access point at Setting -> Connectivity -> Settings -> Destinations -> Access Point -> Tap and hold at <Your AP>

Guys, got question to ask

1) Whatsapp and Nimbuzz clash to each other or not?
2) Do you guys recommend to use F-Secure? Or this apps wasting too much resources and should be uninstalll?

I find F-Secure occasionally makes the phone less responsive. I switched it on to check thing out and now it's auto-launch everytime I switched on the phone. I couldn't find a way of disabling auto-launch. Any idea?

I did not want to uninstall. I only want to stop this auto-launch.

I settle the connection problem d.. its bcoz of the apps, whatsapps, CHAT, email etc.. finally.. i restore it then everything okay, BUT.. now my camera cant operate! @@?? S.O.S.. when i press the camera button/or click the icon.. it seems like enterin the camera then it ll jump out to menu.. restart doesnt help here.. sigh..

uninstall any mod you install. I faced that when i install a mod using symbian belle.

From all thype of app, I find whatapp the worst interm of battery usage.. As 3G or even wifi wil be permanently on "On-Connected" mode, My battery now dun last>24hrs compare to b4.

I miss the time, I no need to charge for 3 days

OVI store lists Whatapps as 4 Stars. I installed and quickly uninstall because what use is any phone without batteries?
