get a 4g18 (2006 or older waja) or if you want newer ones then get atleast the campro with cps..
delay when stepping on the pedal for campros is normal.. u need to mod abit.. then it will respond faster..
if u install piggyback.. then no delay at all..

some waja sold in 2006 are made in 2005.. old stock..
piggyback is secondary ecu.. it works together with your oem ecu..

The gist of it, Campro has lower torque at low RPM and the infamous torque dip between the 2k to 3k RPM range.

Unless you plan to rev to 3.5k rpm and above constantly (bye bye FC), 4G18 is more suitable for daily urban driving.

I think there are other problems as well, but I should probably let someone more knowledgeable to answer.

ohhh forget to tell more... make sure is 2002 or 2003 Waja... 2003 Waja is the best coz all bug fixed.
2004 - 2006 Waja is the cut cost waja and lotsa harness missing.

2001 lotsa things is not correct hahahaha even the dashboard screw holder always patah coz it is still in beta... the ecu had bugs which need to reflash for the patch, the instruments meter and the wiring are under sized, the side door trim all plastic dun have metal like 2003 onwards waja.... and lots more... average get 2003 waja... it takes me 2 years to get a waja coz i check every damn thing hahaha dun believe can ask Elton coz i bought my Waja since elton in his college... i bought my Waja in 2006.... that time i got good deal at RM34k.... so far the car very loyal to me no problem at all, i even drove the car up to Golden Triangle in Burma without any issue... my car deserve to have a Turbo.....

Normally it is the gear oil contaminated.... try to change gear oil and run for 20km. If problem still persist then must check the clutch assembly because the clutch or the bearing might be damaged. It is quite a common problem for manual cars where most of the people doest not take care. FYI every 25k you have to replace the tranny gear oil however i do it every 10k because it doesn't cost much. Thats what we called preventive maintenance..... Prevent before it happen.

Very subjective troubleshooting unless you replace with a good coil then u feel by your own

depend wat mod are u looking at.... if add everything i think can buy evo liow.... but mod stuff + fun cant be calculated like consuming your food.... just mod and be happy.... ride out ur fun toy.

btw, waja tread now become more poisonous.
too bad, since my waja almost reaching the mod limit, and the limitation of being a front wheel drive which limit her capability to power slide over drift, and again, limited suspension setup to play with, i just 'dump' her for a better
toy which could go sideways with more torque and hp to play around to the limit!
also, stretch your budget beyond limit!
