the nearest place to you would be in Sunway Pyramid and also XZ at Bali Sunway (now dunno call what but Taylor's Business School is there)...

Glad to know the local LYN Snooker community..

Was using a CityBoy (legendary cheap cue), then moved on to an O'Min 1 piece, then using an on loan O'Min Millenium and now a John Parris Classic (have to state mine is an ori cuz too many fakes around)..

Plays around PJ and still am learning...Snooker has such a steep learning curve and I'm at a disadvantage because I wear spectacles and I don't intend to make one specially for snooker...

Anyone care for a rack or two around PJ, Pyramid or XZ( I haven't been there before but alot of National and State tourney are held there..)

its call a touching ball or the local language kissing ball..you must play away from the object ball if its touching it..

Here is an excerpt of the rules from http://snooker.com.my/game9a49.html?cat=Snooker
Touching Ball:
If the cue ball is touching another ball which is, or can be, on, the referee or player shall state "Touching Ball." Thereafter the striker must play away from it or it is a push stroke (foul). No penalty is incurred for thus playing away if (1) the ball is not on; the ball is on and the striker nominates such ball; or (3) the ball is on and the striker nominates, and first hits, another ball. [If the referee considers that a touching ball has moved through an agency other than the player, it is not a foul.]

CM1 cues costs rm50 or less, but its way better than those found in snooker parlours which are crooked and not straight....it's a good cue for leisure players.

Heard of fiber snooker cues? saw one at cue station, nice colour, firm rebound, but vibrates badly if used hard. RM300 for 2 piece with metal extender

stick back to the wood cues my friend that's my advise..personal experience, it doesn't give a natural feel and it bends easily..

the salesman told us 100% wont bend coz made out of hard fiber, from my automotive experiences fiber doesnt flex or bend, but cracks easily if impacted
