I'm thinking about getting a ipad2 for basic purposes (youtubing, uploading my pix to flickr, as a personal organizer). But i have a concern i want ask about:
I have a canon g11 digital camera and whenever I connect to my PC, the software (camerawindow) will download pictures with all the setting of the camera that the picture was taken (like ISO, aperture, focus, flash setting) into the properties of the image file. I wonder will it be the same if connect my digital camera with ipad2 with the optional USB accesories? can i load the camera settings of the image into the ipad?
I ask the machines store staff at midvalley n 1 utama, but both of them went huh? and said 'most probably not'
. Any way that's my dealbreaker, if it can't do that, then I just have get a windows laptop get my thing done.
Thanks for all your answer and clarification.
Very new to gadgets n stuffs.
As far as I know, if you're shooting .JPG files with your G11, then all image attributes (ISO, aperture, focus, flash settings, etc) at saved into the image. Transferring it from one device to another does not impact that information. The only way to remove that information is if you do something to the image itself, such as 'save for web' etc.I have a canon g11 digital camera and whenever I connect to my PC, the software (camerawindow) will download pictures with all the setting of the camera that the picture was taken (like ISO, aperture, focus, flash setting) into the properties of the image file.
