trust me that they never know how to check your screen!  shakehead.gif

my experience for the past whole week:

2nd Aug - sent  in for yellowish tint issue

5th Aug -Morning- received sms to collect phone - Noon -collected, screen replaced, but only done minor checking on the spot to make sure yellowish tint is gone - Evening- reached home from work, playing the phone with light switched off at room, the screen automatically tuned to lowest brightness, then some small white circle spots appeared in the middle and top right corner of the screen

6th Aug - Sent it back to samsung, the reception told me there was no technician that day so can't explain why is it appearing. But they have made clear notes on the job sheet stating all my problems.

8th Aug - after various phone calls to samsung 1800, the berjaya technician finally call me and told me this:" Mr., I don't see anything on your screen wor"  cry.gif they indirectly forced me to drive all the way down to plaza berjaya from sunway area just to show them those spots. At first they still try to deny there are spots around, but after showing them various pictures from various source - google etc. They finally admitted there are spots and agreed to change another screen for me  rclxub.gif

until now I haven't receive SMS telling me to collect my phone  whistling.gif I bought the phone for three weeks, used it for two weeks and one weeks is with samsung service centre  thumbup.gif

had a question to ask...so the lite'ning ROM is based on XXKG6...does that mean i have to flash to XXKG6 1st before flashing the lite'ning?
and if yes should i go this order (stock>root>lite'ning)?

Every good phone has its own followers. No matter what the cost, somebody would still buy it. It's just a matter of preference :-P
*
i agree with the gud phone has its own follower but compare with spec if u say same price with SGSII i can still accept but the price is way too high for those spec weh==

damn panic again ... trying flash back previous rom ..
*
bro no nid to panic as long as ur phone is not bricked or semi-bricked all da thing is still possible to be SAVE!

even if CWM is wiped u can still use stock kernel recovery mode just that it is not as powerful as CWM lah...

1. Keep a stock Kernel for if u got into bootloop
2. Backup ur phone before doing all da flashing using watever apps that u feel comfortable

Hehe.. Relax bro.. boot loop is common thing.. U can try to clear cache and factory reset 1st in recovery mode.

Dark side = villain rom biggrin.gif

If u just getting stuck at boot loop.

-U can try flash back stock rom with odin
-flash CF kernel
-Then flash litening with odin.
*
actually after stock ROM can str8 flash to lite'ning edi xD but u have to follow every step stated on xDA

1 & 2 go here http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1991378
3)dont worry so much about battery, main thing, dun charge when it hits rock bottom, around 30-40% u better charge ad, always better to charge plug it in wherever and whenever u can, li-ion is different from the old one. another thing is, once it hits 100%, better switch off and use ur phone abit till it hits 95% bcoz staying at 100% will fasten the corrosion of the lithium ion or smtg,  there is supposed to be a safety switch that prevent battery to stick at 100% for too long, but i prefer it manually plus u save ur electric bill  smile.gif
4)if u mean what's posted in fiz page, most of them are paid apps
bro u know what i stock? doh.gif

nahhh research has proven it's better smile.gif
*
research by who u mean? LOL i am quite pissed by random reboot thingy only other still fine

Several posts back, I noted a lively discussion on mobile phones type used. Well, I just cannot resist and later, perhaps a few days time,  I will post a long list of all the mobile phones I have used since 1990

My first "Mobile" was Telekom Atur 450. Then being a Deputy General Manager of a PLC company, I was the only manager given a RM 11,000 mobile phone which was fitted onto my company's car and which can also be taken out and carry like a toolbox !!! The company at that time felt I needed to be in contact at all time as I was often on the road from JB to KL, Perak and up to Jitra Kedah

Than, The first cellular network was introduced by Telekom Malaysia in 1985. Theirs was named ATUR 450 – based on the NMT 450 i.e. Nordic Mobile Telephony at 450 MHz, using the prefix 011.

See the attached pic to see this monster size "Mobile " phone
