Hi guys, im an android newbie here. Planning on upgrading my phone and figure i should jump on the android bandwagon.

1. Brand : Any
2. Budget : up to RM800
3. Specs : not too fragile phone (my phones get tossed around a bit...)
4. What you need in the phone :
- Good battery life
- an OK camera (just for uploading to blog and catching those impromptu Kodak moments)
- preferably dual-SIM since i currently carry two phones and its a bit of a hassle
- something simple for me to learn and play around with android, like flashing, rooting without cursing myself too much
- not too big of a phone (something that still feels like a phone in my hand)
- can sync to exchange/corporate outlook email (Android has an app for this right?)

Sorry i dont really know what are android capabilities hence the questions above.

Some friends recommended the CSL Mi350 or the mini Mi322 because of dual sim, while others recommended getting Galaxy Ace, Gio or Mini depending on how it feels in my hands. I like the Galaxy Mini because it feels nice and small in my hands, but afraid the smallish screen might be a minus point on the Android experience. Any thoughts and Recommendations?

Designed for smartphone users who aren't couch potatoes, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is a compact, powerful and resilient Android handset.

Wow thanks for the input!

Mm, I just checked out the reviews and specs for SE Experia Mini Pro, Motorola Defy and the SE Experia Active.
I do like the QWERTY keyboard on the Mini Pro, since im a heavy texter and will be a heavy emailer once i set up my corporate email to the phone.
I like the Defy too, but its a little out of my budget unless i wait til December to buy.. and it kinda reminds me of a black colored iPhone...
The Experia Active seems to be a good alternative as well with the compact design (i like!) and ruggedness. Will check on its email push capabilities and typing features more in a bit.
Anyone has any recommendation for a shock-resistant droid phone with a qwerty keyboard?
