Try flash again? Did you factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache before flashing the ROM?

Guys, I try to root and install xRecovery on the stock rom, but the root process is success, while when wanna install xRecovery, the flashtool itself din detect my x10, thus I cant ask root perms and continue. Did anything goes wrong???

ya.. sometime is damm long.. or need other apk to support it well?i notice old version wolf rom can do well..and the latest one become more worst on tat gps things.

after flash to v5c, there is no xLoud and Bravia rite, so i flash the additional file to get these two features...guess what, the version number change to 4.2.1c

is it only the word got changes or the features also change back to 4.2.1c as well?

some more if i enable bravia engine, snapping picture, video recording, open pictures in gallery...all become "force close/wait". these problems occur in both in 4.0.4c and 5c.

The gaming ROM reallly good! last time i tried Third Blade(free game on market) quite laggy.. now.. fuu quite good. Now trying out 6.0.0c(custom) and maybe 6.0.0s(stock) later..

i`m using wb v6 oso...but it takes 20sec to locked gps..

i change the server of the gps to m`sia server instead of europe..

if u didnt touch the phone, say 100% charge, it will stay that way for 1 hour or so...in previous version, if fully charged, even u didnt touch the phone, the battery percentage will still drop...this is the only significant thing about battery...other than that, still drain like hell...

what rom are u using?
i use WOlf's  rom...gps lock very fast.... less than a minute...
if u hav dataplan, switch on "use wireless network" in location settings... definitely less than a minute to lock...

Hi guys i'm android newbie here.. i saw this official thread for the x10i, i guess u all are the very very sifu.. i need some help.. my problem is pertaining to update my (used) x10i from android 2.1 to 2.3.. i downloaded and installed pc companion, SE update.. my phone can back up images and contacts to the pc.. but when update cannot.. the checking for update process is ok, the problem start here.. the pc companion will ask to remove hp and cable from the pc, turn off the phone den wait 5 seconds (i waited 15 seconds) den plug the usb cable to computer den press "back" key while connecting the phone to the usb.. so i jus folo the instruction.. i pressed "back " while connecting.. keep on hold the "back" key.. when the screen start up like normal "on".. then my pc hang.. i tried 3 pc already.. all same result.. hang until i nid to restart pc.. my pc spec is i5 with 4gb ddr3 and 450gb empty hardisk.. i notice my phone n my fren's x10i is slighly different.. usually when i hold the off button to off, the screen got few option to choose (i.e. Silent, Airplane, Off, Rebot, Recovery and download).. My fren's fun hav such thing.. My current firmware is 2.1-update1, Baseband is 2.04.46, Kernel is 2.6.29 SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1, build number is 2.0.A.0.504.. Hope u can guide me how to update to gingerbread.. thanks..

our x10 has built in gps...there is configuration for the gps to find the server  based on our setting address...it is same as build.prop...
initially built in configuration for gps all the server is refer on differ continent and it takes a much longer for the gps to locked for those who lived in other continent as well..so i`ve change the address so that the satellite will straight lookin to the asian continent (malaysia) for faster locked..

To check ur gps setting, use root explorer.. under system\etc\gps.conf
it should show as asia pool or something..for malaysia, u should see MY or something.. SG is singapore etc..

Setting >wireless & network > mobile network > network mode.

BTW, went back from lowyat thinking of trade in my X10i to Neo. They willing to take my X10 for RM400 and I have to top up Around Rm600 . Hmm.. I think I will hold on to my X10 a 'lil bit longer. My X10 already upgraded to 2.3.3 but that fella said that there is a version that have 'bravia' engine which is faster. Have guys heard about this bravia engine thingy for X10? The cost for upgrading is RM80. If what he said is true, I don't mind paying the upgrade. Unfortunately he doesn't have X10 that have been upgraded to show it.
