im getting good in battery.. this latest 3.8 is not bad already..testing from 7am till 7pm.. battery drop 8-10%.. 6 call and 5 msg..Overall, it got improvement expccially in sleep mode.. but when play game...the battery is vomit..

try uninstall and reinstall the PC Companion and Service update again...

Last time i faced similar problem, it turned out my Flash Mode driver is faulty...
perhaps your flash driver is not installed properly

true, but i havent try the battery in playing games...in playing mp3, from about 77% battery can last from 1am to 8am with still 15% battery left...

Did that too , uninstalling pc companion & service update and also have tried on different pc....
its really puzzling me. Flash drive is ok i think, tried other ports too.. looks like i might hv to send it in to sony to deal with it.. almost giving up on my own..

Play game battery drained like water.

i've succesfully boot into xrecovery and update "WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.8.0 | 55fps, ARC Features, no Audio lag | 11/8/2011" after reboot its stay at SE screen. what happen?

Be patient, the first time of loading for 3.8 is very long, I wait for 7-10 minutes only get it done and even enter android d still lag, require few reboot to get thing right

but its stay there over 10mins. i might miss some step?

r u flash the WB 3.8? stable or with arc features?
i recommend u to flash back the rom...

Which version you are before flashing into 3.8?? What you done during flashing 3.8 from your previous FM/rom?


BTW Z seems to quit soon as he is going to sell his x10 of end of this month, nevertheless he just came out with camera with flash and revealed that there will be good new next week regarding bootloader

still unable to get my baseband load, who can help?

this is what i've done


Copy the update.zip (name can be different!!) to your X10s SDcard
Reboot X10 into xRecovery (Keep hitting Back-button while X10 restarts)
Select "Factory Reset"
Select "Wipe Cache Partition"
Select "Advanced options" -> "Wipe Dalvik Cache"
Select "Install custom zip" and select the zipfile you copied to your SDCard
Wait for xRecovery to finish

this part i was not able to get it done. i back press the button then plugin the usb nothing happen its reboot as normal.

After that, DONT REBOOT OR DO ANYTHING, JUST REMOVE ANY CONNECTED CABLE AND REMOVE BATTERY TO TURN OF PHONE
EXTRACT the kernel+baseband-File into flashtools firmware folder
Hit "Flash" in flashtool and select the copied kernel+baseband
Now insert battery again (make sure no cable is connected. Otherwise the phone will start into charging mode and you have to start again)
Press Back-button and connect cable
Wait for flashtool to finish

Guys I saw SGS notification tray got control button eg: play/pause audio and etc. That 1 app or Samsung TouchWiz UI feature? At 1 I think is part of GB.

Both Root and Backup should follow this :Link

For updating rom just install SE Pc companion and SEUS, follow Sony given instructions and let itself update?
