I thought the beep is normal? Mine also beeps when i switch to ignition, after the beeping gone then i start the engine ( Mine is 2011 tdci hatch )

2nd case is problem with your reverse sensor already, as for the beeping if not mistaken is for the seat belt 1( once i unhook the seatbelt sure got the beeping ) 

If fuse it will be no sound at all, as once the fuse blow there's no more electric supply to the sensor.. Best is to check the sensor or change it, the sensor is pretty cheap, sometimes loose wiring also the cause ( check at the connector )

They should have a mondeo 2.0 tdci and price is lower to attract those traditional 2.0litre D segment buyer ( Around 150k ), actually for this kind of car diesel is the best. Good pulling power as well as superb fuel economy 

Hi Guys, Need some inputs here. I currently have 3 choices of car I may choose to purchase. I had already test drive 2 cars but confused which to choose.
Below are this 3 cars.

1) Ford Fiesta (Sedan)
- Really feel great of it's powerful engine and also 6speed AT. FC very good. Body wise- ok. Interior comfort- still ok.

2) Toyota Vios
- 4 speed,1.5cc. Not much power compare to fiesta. FC also poorer than fiesta 15sen/km. But comfort is very good.

3) Mazda2
- Nice body build and nice interior. Heard the engine are nice but FC 17sen/km

How good if I can combine all the good parts into one car.

Like to ask any problem with Fiesta?? How about the parts after warranty? If the parts are expensive after warranty, does it means the resale value would drop??

Yes...I really love the performance of the fiesta and it's true it tops Mazda, Vios and City(easily tell after test drive) - bit of comfort (compare to vios).

I read thru the fiesta club forum and it seems like quite some of issues not only on the car itself but also hard to require parts if any of the parts failure.
Not sure it's true or not, I heard quite an issues with the transmission as well. Is this true??

NVH is pretty ok, once u get above 140 u will start to hear some wind noise..Mine is tdci, the stock tyres ( NCT5 ) really noisy, if u can just change it.. There's a lot selling their petrol model but so far i seldom see tdci selling.. petrol model is underpower and drinks a lot, diesel u can whack like the end of the world and still get good fc, whether buy new or used i suggest u buy the diesel model 

Due to the heavybody and not so efficient engine, the FC is around there, not much u can do unless u change to tdci. My tdci is getting around 9L/100km in city drive, still pretty much same as my previous honda city vtec 

if FC is really your concern, i swear TDCI is the way to go

i've recently change job. i stay in kinrara and my office is near sunway monash uni. all the way down the road.

its nottt too far away, if sunday drive no jam, takes about 15-20mins max to get there. but u know, tat stretch there is usually JAM UP.

my best achievement so far counting by days and not mileage.
i pump 1 full tank on 10/5/2012 (rm90.50, 50.277litre, travel 655.3km) but lasted me until 3/6/2012 before i had to refill. 23days

Your fc really good huh, i only get around 460km for 42litres of fuel, blame my right foot for that 

U are getting a good car for the price, dont need to regret, just need to suffer with the not so good FC  .. next time can upgrade to mondeo ecoboast 

No doubting ford cars are one of the best to drive on the road, many people does not realize that yet.. Ford=lousy car in general view

i m sure u have your fun with the Petrol focus as well, just tat u dont FC like the tdci. but u got ur petrol focus for a gooding pricing.
