there was an ecoboost but only on ST

But prefer TDCI compare to ecoboost

I more concern of other drivers/car who just open their door without thinking others in tight space

get focus...

u wont regret later

just imagine..u driving a fiesta and focus passing by :

if u never sit/test drive new focus then it will be another story

new focus really nice but 200Nm is nothing compare to 320Nm (TDCI)

nothing interesting when u test drive fiesta later on

with some correct mod /tunning ...u might get 15% more

now...U can smoke Golf TSi (maybe)

high torque makes u sink into your seat.

for me , higher number of T , provided me more confident to drive esp during overtaking n uphills

for TDCI average fuel consumption is 5.5-6.5l/km no matter how hard to trash the paddle. U can drive at 170 km/h for hour but still got many fuel left in tank and less stress to ur engine

diesel engine is different from petrol engine due to low rev characteristic . Bare in mind that the diesel engine itself more heavy compare to modern petrol engine that bring some significant performance on 0-100

max torq/hp generate on the rpm stated , for new focus , u hav to tekan to that rpm to feel the max power


for city driving/normal malaysia road. tdci much more better performance coz the no need to tekan so much to feel the power

how many times u want to rev ur engine closed to red line?.I think normal driver only cruising up to 3/4rpm for daily routine drive.

so here comes the turbocharged mechanism to provide better power at low speed for petrol engine like Proton did

great FC for new focus

my V6 only covered 500Km for RM90 (max rpm only 3k)

when to SC to collect my car yesterday.But really pissed off with how they handle the process.On Friday last week, the officer rang me and told me that my should be ready by Monday, so I took day off on tuesday and when to SC without bother to call them first.

Unfortunetly , my car still not ready, still waiting for wire hardness.WTF wasting my time .


btw , I had a chance to go inside the workshop and saw one new focus stranded ,with front seat and the dashboard been taken off. Havent a chance to ask why

not new la .my car got accident during raya.

sorry no picture but try to snap if got chance to go inside workshop to collect my car tomorrow or ask the technician what happen to that car

wire hardness for headlight was burned due to accident but SC just cut and joint those wire due to wrong part.

luckly adjuster found n need to order the whole wiring that cost amost 5K.so re submit the claim n took long time to receive.

actually SC did a good job at the first place, finished their job in only 3 weeks

Adjusted found that some wire was been cut n join so the worst case happen then I hav to wait another 3 weeks


for those who bought a new focus , just pray hard that nothing bad happen to ur car. I been told that there no spare part for new ranger and focus .

I was there from 2.30 to 4

No ST at PJ. If not mistaken I saw some customer test drive black TDCi Sport

ST only for showroom purpose right now. l. i think there only 1 ST for this moment is some whack it during test drive then no car to see laa

like happen to MPS year back

hope SDAC allow the customer to test drive later on.

last time Mazda Malaysia only allow to test drive the MPS for those who pay the booking fees. So many people complaint and then they back to normal routine

less SC , after sale n space part is main obstacles.

for normal interval servicing , I think u should not worry much about the SC , they are doing a great job (for me so far ).

Just wonder how the want to cope with the increasing numbers of customer

maybe SDAC already plans something coz last April ford will launch 6 new model (Focus/ST already launched , so maybe Kuga etc.)
