QUOTE(CANONPIXMA @ Sep 21 2011, 08:35 PM) means i have to remove my glove compartment first? damn, i keep on finding in the arm rest area I think you just need to open the glove box, connect it, and close it. No need to "remove" it.

QUOTE(lmj123 @ Oct 8 2011, 11:21 AM) hi does anyone know how does the fuel meter actually work?? it's based on some sort of sensor in the fuel tank or it's controlled by some wire?? bcoz after i send my fiesta for fixing the radio button on the steering (not working), the meter seems like drop very fast, given that i drive very "politely" oni rev up to 6k rpm once, normally oni 3k rpm... oni around 70km travelled then left oni 3/4 tank based on the meter How far you can go for a full tank?

The first advice I got from the technician from SDAC when I talked to them is "DON'T MESS WITH THE WIRING AND ELECTRONIC STUFF". Got lots of problem later if we do...

not all SDAC technician are good, maybe they messed up your settings. You see, when I asked the supervisor about the installation of fog light to my sedan, he don't recommend it because the electronic settings is problematic if not done 100% correct.

after 4000km driven, my fiesta is smooth and not jerky anymore, and I believe after first service the jerkiness will be gone

1.4 is so under-spec, the family owner normally rather spend more for safer ride.

The engineers from Ford US said they used L mode exclusively on Fiesta for thousand of miles and no problem so far.

use L mode to feel the power and pickup, probably during a street race or adrenalin rush hour... not recommended for uphill or downhill, the hill assist button is better fyi, our L mode is totally different concept from others such as Proton or Perodua L mode

No L mode for manual. You control the gear manually.
