Ford sources their DCT from Getrag.
Getrag doesn't make shitty gearboxes.
we have come to a point in our car technology that most of the failures are due to poor maintenance than design, getting a lemon from production is less than a 1% chance, and finally the chance that a poor design actually makes it into production is also very rare nowadays.
so we can rest assured major brands give good products
