those that can do memtest stable at high fsb but cannot play games or run 3dmark, i suggest that u guys increase the chipset voltage and agp voltage.

it's more than just upping the fsb
u need to pay attention on: voltage : normal desktop barton chips needs higher voltage to get it overclocked compare to mobile barton chips temperature : eventhough you already put high voltage, a high temperature will hinder the speed. safe to say that heat prevents further overclocking ram : ram can be a limiting factor. if u r using sucky rams, make sure they're on dividers. a few mhz overclock is usually okay if you want to run it synchronous with the fsb motherboard capability : make sure your mobo can lock the AGP speed evertything else... just read the friggin' sticky topic over fundementals of overclocking on top of this section |

i think your processor is losing its overclocking efficiency already since u run it at 1.9V 24/7

somebody mentioned before that silver based compound is not recommended to use on chipset.
why don't u try ceramique based compound instead? |

QUOTE(fridaynite @ Mar 2 2006, 03:39 PM) my dfi nf2 ui can't boot at 1.8V or higher. Even when the CPU is set to default speeds. i googled and some say it's the bios. i've tried a lot but problem not solved. anybody experienced this? please help. sounds like it's more to PSU problem |
