Just got the DV6 without Beats headphone & blu-ray drive at RM 2.9k. The machine not really as fast as I would expect it to be.

If I install the latest AMD Catalyst driver from the AMD website, will I still be able to switch to Intel HD graphics based on demand?

Anyone know how to disable the glowing HP logo at the lid? Sometimes I left the laptop turned on overnight, so the glowing logo is a little too bright.

It is quite true that this DV6 (even with only basic stuffs installed) does lag for no particular reasons. I do not expect such amazingly spec-ed unit sufferring from this

Any idea why HP latest DV6 variant had discontinued the ATI 6770M and replaced with 6490M? Although the i7 processor had been updated but I consider this as downgrade.
