QUOTE(sameday @ Mar 16 2012, 07:33 PM)
I was there visit my friend's zest unit, i did help to post up question about full furnish rental. i was there 2 days ago while he finishing his unit and hand over key. tenant actually give him 2 weeks, so he manage to kautim fr bare house to full unit.

he actually wanted to do a lot more before rent out, but suddenly got tenant, so he cut down all the built in wardrobe etc.. and change to fix furniture type to rush for the tenant.

Since he know me frequent keypo here, i can't reveal his unit number. so pls don't ask me ya.. not good. next time no friend.
Also, as I am not owner, I don't have any price how much this or that, i know he spend near to 30k.

Rented out only 2K, that's his decision. the only thing he reveal, he want to make income look good, coz rental - intallment, show a very good positive figure, thus, bank evaluate his future property investment still got chance, since already hv rental with positive income.  as now bank very strict.

For me, I don't think 2k is good but different people hv different purposes.

my comment on the unit facing forest and bungalow.

1. at night very cooling, high floor, above 10.
2. the air you smell is clean. (though there's a shit pond nearby, but no smell).
3. he told me, even after 3-4 o'clock in the afternoon, you don't need fans at all, wind will blow.
4. if you want good ventilation, his tips, open the toilet door and aircond door and open your master bed room window, you have extreme good air flow, in and out.
5. not noisy as some unit facing close to road. (sorry, just my feeling seeing some show unit with furniture).

Here's what the unit have when I was there..

1. 42" TV (did not see the brand)
2. Sharp Fridge
3. 3 aircond - living, master, 2nd room
4. all with Fans
5. Kitchen Cabinet with Hood etc...
6. Sanyo Washing Machine
7. Electrolux Water Heater
8. Superking Size Bed
9. Sofa
10. Dinning Table.

the kitchen is not completely done up yet.. so you can see some messy in the photo.

lastly, here some photo.

Yes, normally if you are new in this area, i would say it's impossible. As this is not his 1st house he did with fully furnish. already done few fully furnish.

so he told me all are his people he familiar with. Electrical / ceiling, cabinet, air cond are all different gang. furniture also buy from people he already familiar with. all lamps and electrical stuff also from shop he already know and traded well..so not our cup of tea yet.

planning take less than a week, and actually work take 2 weeks. That's it and he hand over the unit on 15 march. he take me visit before it was handover.

so, normally if for me... easily 1-2 months....if I were to do it..
