Non-shrink grout is a chemical mixed cement... It give better Compressive Strength compared against OPC....
It have more fine particle combination with silica and etc material.. |

Better to use grouting cement.. Anyhow u need to ensure all your piping works is well done prior casting with grouting cement..
Btw, seemed like you have disturbed the load bearing wall.. |

That is why fix it right the first time. Why not ask a professional plumber to check before cement it.

For your case, that is a Poly Pipe with PN (Pressure Rating).. I not sure how your plumber solve the problem but in real fact you are required to cut-off the damage portion and rejoin it with socket..
