No way blizzard is gonna remove the online DRM thingy, the whole game is design around that idea from the start. Learn to accept the fact already...it is here to stay...
If you lurk the official D3 forums almost nobody talks about the online DRM coz they don't care...
Yeah, the same problem occurs again. Just like the lack of P2P from MW2 where it become a trend in certain shooters. Other developers will think that this practise is acceptable among gamers, and then, you'll see more games using the same online only DRM later on.If you lurk the official D3 forums almost nobody talks about the online DRM coz they don't care...
Ubisoft use the same online only DRM, everyone hates it as if DRM pack a pile of shit in your game, to the point where people actually cracking their original game.
While Blizzard do the same thing, it looks like everyone just praise it as if it is a great idea. The truth is, same shit in different package.
It also shows how blind some Blizzard fans can be, where some hated practise by other company by other gamers can be something that is acceptable.
I have Splinter Cell Conviction, which uses pretty much the same thing as what Blizzard is using now. No internet, no Convinction as it needs internet to start the game, despite its a solo game. And i wont buy any other Ubisoft game because of that, as i dont want my internet connection to become another factor just to enjoy a game.
What Blizzard is doing will affect those who play single player, but no difference for multiplayer. Probably wont be much players playing single player anyway.
