The RMAH is supposedly tied to your location. Even if you get a NA CE, its not going to change a thing. Is this info on the first page? It really needs to be. Well, not that anyone read the first post nowadays.

Its kinda on page 1 smile.gif

plz stop the voice-over thing...

your post reminded me some of the most irritated, annoying voice i ever heard from recent Pinal-Mantasy series that i had to opt for a wapanese version...

now to stop it from echoing in me head...

Price unconfirmed and deposit is Rm25. Also need to pay full price 2 weeks before launch.

But in their tos, they claim if you can find other seller selling cheaper, they will do full refund hmm.gif So my guess is Rm 460 ish which is roughly the average for Malaysia :/

Good for me since i can then monitor play-asia in case they do a cheaper sale. But most likely i'll stick with this other seller since they claim can do ship within 3-6 days after d3 launch. Also the seller said maybe can give cd key first, before they ship so i need not have to wait, so even better nod.gif

you guys dunno much about foreign exchanges rates har?
if you use credit card, banks will higher than the live rates.
i.e. if live rates is 3.18 then bank will charge about 3.28

Order Total: 59.08 USD = 187.780 MYR

187.78 / 59.08 = 3.17840217
eh wait this is live rates.
3.17 is live rates as of today.

are you sure your bank charged your credit card exactly RM187.78 ?

your bank should be charging ur credit card around RM193
59.08 x 3.28 = 193.7824

guys, i would like to ask the difference about the collector edition.

I was interested in purchasing the collector edition just for collecting the merchandise. But then i use the search function in lowyat garage sales. and stumble upon the price tag of NA version and SEA version.

Price tag between both are RM400 to RM800, may i ask why the SEA version is more expensive? was it have extra item that NA does not have? i wish someone could explain to me why SEA version CE has double the price tag of NA Version CE.

So whats the point of getting SEA when u can get NA for a much more cheaper price?
*
A:
QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 13 2011, 07:15 PM)
none. Just the newbs did not know this and just blindly buy it, when there is no benefit, and the price is so damn high.

Also if what i said about rmah being based on bnet account address is wrong, and you bought a D3 NA, You'd then be able to use RMAH in US which is better since they will pay in USD and have more people to buy and sell since they have a bigger player base compared to SEA. Although this seems highly unlikely.

So i still stick by the assumption rmah will be locked based on your battlenet account address listed. You can google to double check if you want.

In summary buying the NA is a win win in either case, especially since it's cheaper anyway compared to the SEA version.
It sux very hard that we need to import US version, because even after importing it's cheaper compared to SEA versions. People from SEA are expected to pay double for no extra benefit for the local SEA retails, despite the fact we earn way less in income compared to the rich western countries  shakehead.gif

Basically Americans who buy D3 NA locally pay cheaper compared to people from SEA who have to pay the expensive shipping fees. Seems very unfair :/ the players in the SEA region get the rough end of the stick.

as for collectible .... i don't think they would make many SEA D3 retails. Nobody in their right mind (the majority of middle to low income house holds anyway) would spend Rm800 ish just for a CE no matter how good the game is.

Even Rm400 ish is already considered an extravagance.

As such i don't think many of the SEA D3 CE will be produced, compared to say the US version.

So as a collectible, SEA D3 CE may be rarer, but what is the point ? You get the same stuff as the NA D3 CE.

I guess the box will have a label or something say SEA retail. But is that worth double the price ? I think not :/

This article illustrates how blizzard is really cut throat when trying to milk as much money out of us.

QUOTE
These were just virtual items, and there were no legal restrictions in place preventing them from selling these "region free" virtual products in any region that players selected. Locking them down to specific regions was a decision made by Blizzard, and it was completely unnecessary UNLESS they wanted more money (players could no longer shop around for better pricing) AND/OR they had future plans to eventually convert the Pet Store into a "Blizzard Store" where they where they could also sell other stuff (like games, expansion packs, digital downloads, or game time) instead of just virtual pets. smile.gif

I don't use this word too often, but that move was just plain greedy.

Most players didn't even know about the cross-region pricing differences, and hardly any players even took the time to take advantage of it. Even with such a small number of players actually buying virtual pets cross-region, and most not even knowing about it, Blizzard still wouldn't leave it alone. They needed to tightly squeeze that sponge just to get a little more water out of it.
