My only major criticism is how can the meteor hit cain square in the face but he can survive. Like wtf    cain is so sturdy lulz.

Kinda odd because the horadrim were mages ... yet i have never seen Cain cast any spells. He is more of an scholar of knowledge.

The only valid explanation would be if Cain was actually an angel, or a possed by a demon. Which could explain how he would survive a smack in the face by a meteor

- Ok, in the trailer I saw a couple things I found odd.

1. A big, flaming meteor strikes the cathedral. The Cathedral is not destroyed. In fact, there is very little damage except a deep crater that apparently goes a quarter mile deep.

2. Cain, an old, frail bookworm is struck either directly, or close enough by the big flaming meteor to get sucked down into the deep crater.


We know Cain is not magical - he spent the first quarter of Diablo 2 helplessly hanging in a cage in Old Tristram. The most he can do is open a town portal and identify your "stuff". He's a smart guy and knows lots of stuff, but he ain't no Dumbledore. So we can assume he didn't use the old "Bubble+Hearth" trick.

How did he survive? Could he survive?

Also, how was the cathedral itself not completely obliterated upon impact? If not from the concussive blast, than by the fiery inferno it brought with it?


Or is it all just a MYTH!?!?!?
