All IBG in different bank same processing time? Many of my customers claim that some xxx bank takes slower processing time
*
for funds to arrive in the same day @ evening, your customer need to IBG before 12pm... Else it will arrive on the 2nd working day.

For OCBC IBG... the maximum daily limit is RM5000.
Let's say I perform IBG of RM5000 at 11pm, 2-Feb-2012
Can I do another transfer of RM5000 on 9am, 3 Feb 2012 ?

Would the total funds received in the beneficiary account be RM10000 on 3-Feb-2012 ?

I used CIMB clicks Instant transfer but the transfer didn't seem instant at all...

It requires me to key in a processing date which is the next day(after 12pm) and I am wondering isn't instant transfer INSTANT?

any body mind explaining?
*
why don't you call CIMB for clarification?
When is the transaction date ?
6 and 7 Feb is public holiday for KL & Selangor.. Thus non-banking days.

Since you schedule the 'Instant Transfer', you will see on the same day of the scheduled date of transfer.

why u dont try Ambank Amstar Extreme which can offer 5x IBG free, only keep 5k every month
*
There's an even better offering from OCBC : OCBC iQ Basic
- 5 FREE IBG per month while maintaining RM500 a month (to avoid monthly charges)

What is this MyMobile is all about? An app or what?
*
It's not a mobile application.
It is based on USSD Platfortm (flash sms) to present services menu.
This will be supported by all phones and does not require Internet access. Open to Maxis & Celcom users at the moment.
Maybank charges 20 sen for 4 min transaction.

Coolest is the FREE IBG to 3rd party (fees waive until further notice)

Fund transfers, bill payments via SMS soon

KUALA LUMPUR: Three local banks are preparing to launch a new service in May that enables users of mobile phones – not just smart phones– to carry out certain banking transactions like fund transfers and bill payments.

Not a wise move at all!

RM 15k of RM 50 notes == 300 pcs!

If exchange to RM100 notes, it's only 150 pcs... just 2 stacks.. which can fit in any pocket

This is what I found for SCB:

Over the counter
a. Visit any of Standard Chartered branches
b. Request to perform MEPS IBG
c. Fill in the application form
You can transfer up to RM 50,000 per transaction over the counter.

I wonder what is the DAILY limit instead?
*
I believe the MEPS limit has always been RM10,000 per day.
