It'is a carbon fiber sticker. Why don't expose the apple's logo appear. It's more awesome.
Its not a carbon sticker. Its made of real carbon fibre material and Lucky Labs has mentioned that it is not possible to cut out the Apple logo like any other normal stickers simply because, well its a not a sticker, its the real deal.
Some one mentioned earlier IIRC the Vapor Comp (non Stealth versions) goes for RM380 at Machines Outlets. which is about the same, plus minus a bit if you order online from Element Case. So in terms of pricing I guess its pretty reasonable. You get to get the case immediately as well.
Buy SGP stuff from mac studio should be original right?
If they sell fakes they would've gone under by now. Think its safe to say all those large retailers you see in malls, mac studio, machines, epicentre etc all sells genuine stuff. A little on the pricey side, even for genuine stuff, but you can be rest assured what you get is the real deal.
If I stick the carbon sticker at the back of my iphone..Do I need to peel my sp at the back ? 2.Would it leave any residue on to the back of my phone /?
I normally stick any stickers for the back, be it carbon fibre, fibre glass or whatever over a back screen protector. Although sellers usually guarantee their products to be residue free, still cant help but feel paranoid about it.
oh..damn...will your clear getting those lines effect when you pull it out of your pocket?
Ok here is the difference between clear and matte based on my experience.
1. Crystal Clear - Well its...clear. Simple as that. Retina display in all its glory. But be prepared to keep wiping away smudges and stuff. It gets especially oily if you have an oily face especially when you receive a call and you press it towards your face.
2. Matte - Compromises your Retina Display screen quality....by quite a lot.... Surface is much smoother and it feels nicer when you swipe around or play games. Smudges a little and oil and stuff are easier to wipe off.
Overall I still prefer the Crystal Clear though.
If you want the best of both worlds the closest is the SGP Ultra Optics.
Crystal Clear can go for SGP or Power Support. Same for Matte.
You can consider XSP for a cheaper alternative for either the Crystal Clear type or the matte type.

Sorry but that looks a real low quality fake....But if you don't mind the looks I guess its fine because from my experience the fake vapor pros work just as well as the originals.
its not true. there are many nice aluminum bumper brands out there other than elementcase. some sleeker, some better quality. Elementcase is too overrated.
Added on February 12, 2012, 3:12 pm After looking at your sales thread, I presume you are a genuine Elementcase seller? retailer? or even distributor?
it just seem funny to me that you have been promoting replica elementcases all along stating that replicas are 'no difference', 'very good' & 'not worth that few hundred RM' for genuine ones?
Highly contradicting, no?
no offense i just wish to clarify.
True there are many nice aluminium bumper brands out there with some sleeker and better quality but the key word here is functionality. While they may be nicer to look at or feels more robust than an elementcase, you can hardly find any that doesn't need you to use any adapters and such while using say third party docks or headphones. Not to mention how most aluminium cases kill either your 3G, GPS or Wifi signal or in some cases totally kill off all kinds of signals. The cut outs for elementcase cases are dare I say close to perfect and compatible with most third party docks and headphones. I won't say all but most. Signals are totally fine when using this case as well. Elementcase cases is as close as you can get to a perfect all rounder aluminium case and so far not one other aluminium case even comes close. (I'd be happy if you can name me one that is as good in terms of functionality, more choices for consumers is always better eh) In short it is either one or the other when it comes to other aluminium cases but with the vapor pro or vapor comps, its as close to perfect as you will ever get when you talk about aluminium bumpers.
I'm also beginning to get bored with my Vapor Pro. And also the typical case/phone colour combo like silver/white, carbon back etc. Probably gonna try a Vapor Comp this time and spice it up with maybe some coloured wraps and back decal stickers, something different other than carbon fibre back or fibreglass back like the one I'm using now.

anybody doing orders?
I heard that the duo slider case is going to be sold in Pearl White this week. I will definitely be buying it when it launches. You can tumpang order with me and we can share the shipping costs if you are interested. Hopefully the 20% code will still be valid when the Pearl White launches because at 65.00 USD with a 20% discount, its a freaking steal!
Seen pics of those in forums before. They are sorta like wood backplates IIRC. Supposedly some high quality stuff but these wood stuff, not really my cup of tea though.
Do note that this doesn't apply on proper branded stickers using 3M material. I always stick mine directly on the glass. Proper brands like Lucky Labs, Slickwraps, Element Case, Trunket etc doesn't leave any residue when stuck on glass or smooth metal surface of the iPhone 4/4S. The RM5-20 dubious brands of stickers will leave residue and shrunk if left too long. Only branded kind of sticker I can't recommend is SGP@Spigen, also will shrink in time and leave hell lot of residues...
They do still leave a little residue. I don't know but I don't buy these residueless claims. I always stick them on an SP to be safe. I've been using numerous Lucky Labs since the launch of iPhone 4 and 2 or 3 Element Case suede and carbon back plates and they do still leave a little after awhile. The first generation of Lucky Labs wraps leaves a fair amount of residue. The 2.0 now doesn't leave any but if you leave your spectra wraps for a considerable amount of time it still leaves a little as I've found out while changing my wraps a few days ago after about 3 months.
Probably they are engineered not to leave any residue on the glass surface of a naked iPhone or maybe if you change backplates around often enough every few weeks it won't but each time I took off my stickers or backplates from the SPs there is still a little.
I actually tried to buy on launch on their official site which is 3 weeks ago. But something wrong with their system. Says shipping not available to Malaysia when you checkout and I just checked yesterday and its still the same. They said they will fix it but still not yet to date. I gave up already.
