hum unless you plan to go to Cardiff, I think for now AIMST would be a better idea as Taylor's is way too new.

Lecturers in Taylors should be better as options are more in KL though it could be pretty competitive.

Generally, colleges(those better ones) in KL provide much better programmes compared with those out of town.

The pioneer batches in AIMST could be good but the fact is most of the contract lecturers left at the expiry of the contract and its not easy to get good replacement as its way out of town.

Thx for d opinions.I personally prefer Taylors more since i hv more confidence with d lecturers thr. smile.gif however AIMST is accreditated by mqa and its far cheaper(but its too far from my hometown as well sad.gif )..while Taylors B.pharm prog is not yet accreditatated..i was wondering whether d graduates r eligible for registration with Pharmacy Board of Malaysia?

Like a forumer here mentioned, check out IMU. If you want an oversea degree, you can also check out Monash.

I thought JPA sends the students to UCSI for Pharmacy course ? Lol.

Added on August 3, 2011, 4:11 pmIf you want to study locally, I would recommend you to choose AIMST.

If you want to go to oversea, Cardiff is a good choice.

No problems with accreditation. All approved courses will be accredited, the fact is for some of them, the first batch of graduates are not out yet.

If you want to consider more reputable universities, consider Monash, Nottingham and IMU for pharmacy.

The academic entry requirements for Pharmacy is most stringent in Monash (ATAR 92), next is Nottingham.

Well, last sem it was ATAR 92 for SAM students, coupled with a distinction in English.

I think Monash's Pharmacy is more expensive than Nottingham. Pharmacy programmes in Monash and Nottingham are NOT twinning programme, unlike Taylors. You do not have to go overseas (Australia/UK) to complete the programme if you do not wish to and you'll still graduate with degrees from them.

You don't have to go overseas for Taylor's as well. Only difference if you go to Cardiff, you get a Cardiff MPharm and if you stay in Taylor's, you get a Taylor's BPharm.
