QUOTE(poyo @ Sep 17 2011, 11:41 PM)
Thanks for the clarification bro. Hhhmmm could the culprit be alignment settings?

To add : after almost a month owning the car, I finally tried some full throttle runs. At NPE ( from Sunway to Bangsar ), steering feels kinda " floating" around. Could it be due to suspension ( current car mileage is 66k++ ) or again, alignment settings?

A bit of data about my wheel + tyres + alignment setup :
- 15" wheels, offset +35, width 7".
- 195/50/15 tires ( Federal 595 RS-R )
- front camber -1.5, rear camber -1, toe should be 0 all around ( done at Ah Kin, Sunway )

Suspension is stock, all bushings confirmed still in good condition by mechanic. Front lower arm changed to a new one immediately after I got the car.

what speed were you driving?

Between 120 - 160 kph.

The free play issue : even during very slow speeds @ 20-40 kph. I tried to push and pull the steering around a tiny touchie bit aroud that speed and the car only nudges itself too little compared to my steering input.

Shit I really miss Neo Clubsport's pinpoint - go kart like steering feel lol.

Thanks for the ideas bro. I'll go to Ace Hardware and look for a good tire pressure gauge, as I can't afford Longacre's or Snap-On ones lol.

For the tires, what do u guys think would be the ideal pressure when cold?

Tie - rod wise, I'll get it checked out this Monday.

But how can I ensure the steering rack is working fine other than checking out the power steering oil level? It's not electrically assisted right? For if it's not, maybe I can do the power steering pump delete mod.

Well then, then I should glad I am still "accident free"... (touch wood)... But really just we all know nobody wants it... But sometimes you see those happenings or uncivilized driver on road, you began to think if how many % of driver really should be considered "Passed driver", not to even mention "Educated Driver"

Lol Zaypher... You know stock FD2 seat is crap... I am just still funding for FD2R seats... Or wait my bro change to give his to me... TT wise, haha... Just too jam for me to go there from my place for the time you guys fixed, if later in night then sure no prob.

P/S: Did we miss something today? (Super long names *** end with King amir)
