I have been using this product nightly, without fail, since 2007. It really works.

I was a very bad snorer since years before. On the first night of usage, my wife told me that I hardly snored. I woke up feeling really fresh - like it was a new life to me. Since then, I have never stopped using it. I found that if I were not to use it for even one night, I would feel terrible the next day. It really works, believe me.

I have also tried to compare it with a CPAP machine that doctors would recommend because to them it is the gold standard for treatment of my problem which is sleep apnea of which snoring is an important symptom. I thought that I may be missing out something if I do not try it as well. So, I spent a few thousand Ringgit to buy one. I used it for a few months. It gave me many problems not encountered with my use of SomnoGuard AP. Apart from those things, it did not improve my sleep apnea problems by a lot although I used both at the same time. Therefore, I have stopped using the CPAP machine now and am just using SomnoGuard AP. It had saved me many moments during sleep when I had to wake up to adjust the CPAP mask because it was not working properly. And, I do not have to spend money to replace masks, to service the machine, to waste time in disassembling the mask to clean it daily, to spend time to assemble the mask and machine in order to use it nightly. With SomnoGuard AP, all I would need to do nightly is just to sit my teeth in the comfortable mould made specifically for them. Then sleep with it. In the mornings, I need only to take it out of my mouth and wash it like what I would do every morning with my teeth. It is so simple to use and it is so effective for my snoring and sleep apnea problems. And, it costs only a fraction of the price of a CPAP machine or surgery.

I think everyone who suffers from loud snoring and feel tired and sleepy during work or while driving should consider first a SomnoGuard AP. He or she will find a world of a difference immediately after using it. I fully recommend the device.

As for discomfort, it happened only at the beginning while I was learning to use it. Even then, I was able to sleep with SomnoGuard AP on the first night of usage. However, I felt more used to it on the 4th day.

Hope my experience helps to explain some facts that are of interest to you. smile.gif

this is not expensive as compare to sleep apnea machine which cost easily from RM 4K -10K.
im using the machine now and my snoring is permanently gone when i hook on the mask..
the only thing that one should concern is the comfortability of putting something while u r sleeping. im not use to my mask for a while and after i change to something lighter call nasal mask, it works wonder but if somnoguard is lightweight and doesn't gives any hard contact that causes u to wake up at night probably because of misalignment or sore pain than that's a good product.

My experience with SomnoGuard AP is that you won't know it is in your mouth once you are sleeping. It consists of only one item that you place in your mouth before sleeping. There are grooves which are exact impressions of your teeth.

2012 is my 5th year of use. I have no problem using it. The device is comfortable to use and didn't cause misalignment of my teeth or pain. I also like its size. I can carry it even in my trouser pocket when travelling. Better still, I don't need anything else to operate it.

In Malaysia, the company has an expert to make the teeth impressions and fit the device without added cost at RM780 only. One can thus enjoy peace of mind compared with experimentations when fitting it by oneself. www.getupfresh.com has the details.

Only 2 majors player in this industry ResMed and Philips Respironics. Personally would prefer ResMed S9 series over Philips System One. Coz System One design don't look appealing. Lol

Hi all,

I've few questions to ask regarding aids available to prevent loud snoring. I've not been having good sleep because my other half snores so badly.

1. Please help me to list down devices, machines, etc that you have use before to stop snoring accordingly to its effectiveness.
2. Approximate price for each.
3. Where to purchase
4. Any side cost besides the purchase?
5. Recommendation of good doctors for diagnosis purpose

thanks alot.

My best answer for you is go to Sunway Hospital and have the diagnostic check up. It should be cheaper or you can go to University Hospital for check but it takes a lot of visit . just be patient. Price wise.... there are many brands out there and RM4K to 9K for the machine. RESMED is No1 Machine .

Somno guard not so good if u have jaw problem or your teeth gums already decay.
