Hey guys! I'll be getting my Samsung Galaxy Ace tomorrow (most probably) and I can't wait to mess around with it. However, after going through several videos, and asking some of my friends who own Android phones, I'm rather confused about themes. I came across this app known as Go Launcher. Is this similar to Winterboard for jailbroken iOS devices? Also, would I have to root my device in order to run the Go Launcher application? Apart from that, some of my friends mentioned something about installing custom ROMs. What's the point of it? Finally, are there any Android app developers here?  Thanks guys! |

Haven't rooted it yet though. Still contemplating whether to do so, or not  |
