u need it if you wanna flash back stock rom and s-on your device
it is optional and no I did not do it

You download it, put it into your sd card, reboot into hboot then it will prompt you to upgrade, then u choose upgrade
done!

yes, u put the zip file into sd card then hboot will detect it and ask u if u wanna upgrade

remember to delete it after u are done coz it will make u unable to use other hboot options if it is still in your sd card

camera will show moving horizontal lines (like old tv channel) in camera mode and will remain in the photos you take

was on 1.1.2 yesterday and camera has no such problem
I suggest waiting for 1.1.5 to be out, where they include a new kernel which should fix that problem

most probably you din see any improvement after flashing custom rom is because you did not do a superwipe

ARHD 1.1.5 download is pretty slow... I guess everyone is downloading now lolz

actually no, i use CWM to wipe cache, dalvik and partition.

that's why I am doing it later b4 i port to 1.1.5

superwipe is better, it wipes everything

erm, the main concern is actually rooting your phone, not unlocked bootloader. The unlocked bootloader does nothing to the phone, it just enables u to root and flash roms. If you unlocked the bootloader and did not root or flash roms, basically it is no different than locked bootloader.

not to forget Dice player... plays mkv and avi files nicely!

I defected to LeeDroid now LOL

It is prettier... but ARHD seems smoother.

You need to find the stock radio file and flash it
if you cant find it, you can flash the one in ARHD thread, works for me nicely so it should work for u as well

Hm... smoothness ARHD wins and ARHD oso have OC Deamon which is pretty good.
