1) lazy to read n root..
- after reading some of the info on first page..i became confused and afraid i will brick my DHD..
2) i have some paid app that i'll afraid of losing it..i do know can use titanium backup and other thing..but i dunno how to using it..
3) Read some of comment said that need the right GSM and Wifi no..if not cannot work..the signal not strong..

For the reason above..i would say i dont have any basic..from the reading i'm afraid i'll done something wrong or missing some steps that will make me regret..

If want to root i want to ask help from otai here...can arr..or you @syuki...prefer learn by seeing people doing it...hehehe..

Saw the rendering image of HTC Zeta, powerful specs but the physical outlook........~ crap  wtf with htc design nowadays.

Oh... So many tweaks they put in, until so many issue arise. 

Actually is not really HTC fault..as you know HTC and Sammy is really a strong competitors to each other..HTC has the upper hand wif their classy Sense UI where Sammy has its SAMOLED..which is one of the main selling point to the famous galaxy line..do u think sammy will really provide HTC wif da latest screen tech to jeopardize with their product?

No doubts SAMOLED is damn good n vivid in color plus power saving in BLACK..but it all depends on ur main usage on ur device..if you use your device more on web browsing n tasking then S-LCD will save more juice for u where SAMOLED will consume more power..if you r going to watch movie then SAMOLED is da best screen ever.

If I really nid 2 device, i might get HTC mainly phone function then a tablet wif SAMOLED for entertainment purpose (if i afford la )

Rumors for upcoming HTC Edge is using a 2nd generation S-LCD..i wonder if it make it any better in color production

actually since v3.3, runny is very smooth n stable n giving good battery life..just remember to wipe batt stat n flash matching radion ril will help to improve batt life

actually i believe most of the people who suffering bootloop do not hv data or internet connection..da tweaks required you to hv internet connection. I din try the boot animation but i do tried the font..it works without going into any bootloop..but strange thing is i encountered that the font doesn't apply to da whole interface..only the menu n apps drawer cud c da effect...

actually i din really like da new tweaks thou..i prefer to change the boot animation via root explorer..simple and safe..for font i use font changer fr market..i can just download any font available n put it into its folder and it can be applied to da whole phone..much more easier..

ya bro..u r right..it will affect to the whole system each of every interface in the phone..did u try rcmix tweak? i tried it once n da font doesn't affect to all of the phone..only in setting menu n apps drawer..mayb u can try it out...

I heard ppl saying if you wanna set da font for certain interface you hv to know abt da permission..i will update you if i'm able to find any details on this
actually you can use any radio that you feel best for u in any rom..da main thing is flashing da corresponding RIL..cos most of da rom come wif da RIL that matching to da radio da developers r using...so wat i do is i always flash ril after flashing rom

even if u click on individual apps, it is very lag and very hard to download da updates..btw u said u can't install or launch app? how was it? is it hving FC when try to open app?
If you hv rooted ur phone then u can install some print screen app like drocap or shootme.or if u use any custom rom, you oredi can print screen using da power + home combo...but if u r still in stock rom n hvn't root ur device yet, then you won't b able to do print screen

then u must be a lucky guy there is no problem wif updating apps but compared to the version 2.x, it is lag n hard to update. sometimes it just stuck at da loading page n never proceed. it is not only happened to mine, but lots of user of android oso encountered that. me n my fren oso feel the same. even there is lot of ppl complaining that over XDA...that's y lot of ppl prefer da old market

I've got a LOT to learn mann. I remember how I spent hours and hours tweaking, patching the firmwares of my sony ericsson phone. I think I'm gonna ask a lot of silly questions soon.

Anyway, I've seen there are many custom stuffs like cynogenmod, miui and etc. (what are these called again? OS, firmware or wad?)

Is there a site where it list down all possible OSs and different features which they have? Coz like for first timer, how am I gonna decide which to try first?

ive dloaded the file n manage to lock 7-9 sat using gps status,but when i used papago it still like take forever to lock..is it normal or my papago is outdated?

but 4 me papago maps is more accurate than sygic..

it depends on phone also, my new Galaxy Note locks GPS within few seconds the first time i use X5 on it.    It always took at least few minutes on my DHD especially if i have not use X5 for some time.
