Have seen the plastic and the tempered glass types. The tempered glass looks much nicer as it does not have the track below. Which is where all the dirt can accumulate not to mention having to clean them often

QUOTE(Becabal @ Aug 1 2011, 08:52 PM) Tempered glass will tend to break by itself due to cold temp.at night and hot temp on day time.....no matter the temp.rise high or drop low by 1 Celsius also will result tempered glass breakage. If you quote this to an engineer, they will know you have zero knowledge in glass. Temper glass is consider strongest glass you can get around the market. Is stronger than any lami glass for the same thickness. - Mid valley garden shopping center walk bridge made of temper glass. - The halogen cooker top is made of temper glass, the temperature swing is more than 100c, it don't break. - Your car, rear windows, side windows made of temper glass you see it break frequent? it go from hot to cold temperature so frequent. What you quote is only valid on Lami glass with minimal thickness. |

i`ve done so many tempered glass breakage replacement......which engineer dare tell out tempered glass wont break due to temp.???i believe the none of engineer with I.R cert dare to say so.......mid valley shopping market is not just simple tempered glass....that is call tempered + heat soaked glass which i dare say this type of glass not many people hear about it.Its cost higher abit which malaysia market can cope with and provide stronger than ordinary tempered glass........so currently alot of glass railing use this type of glass.
Lami glass......what does it mean?? means laminated glass normally people use for skylight and all type of glass roof because when its break it just will crack and wont shattered down that is lami glass use for........ZERO KNOWLEDGE........wakakaka |
