QUOTE(simon3041 @ Aug 7 2011, 10:20 PM) that msi model u talking abt is RM2999 tat one? which version of GT555m? i think GT555M VB2 only can handle metro 2033 in high setting lol Supposedly same model as this. B1. QUOTE(htpkevin @ Aug 7 2011, 10:22 PM) lol, we can only cross our fingers and pray it comes out with Type B and its 192 bit, coz there are still a lot of unknowns about this series xD Anything can happen Doubt so. You can't put 2GB of VRAM onto a 192-bit bus.

Just realized that the Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) comes with the models. I wonder if it would overclock like the U-series on high performance mode.

QUOTE(IvanWong1989 @ Aug 7 2011, 11:10 PM) lolx.. asus kiam sap.. i wonder will my J run metro.. =P erm.. question... SHE is it avaialable in my J??? can use it?? or is it same as Power4Gear? Even mine can run. Don't expect to run at high settings. SHE only available if it comes standard with the laptop. If it has SHE, then it doesn't have P4G iinm.

Subwoofer is there for the bass response. Without a dedicated subwoofer, sounds won't have much of the oomph you would look for to make it lively. However, I still use headphones because at the end of the day, no matter how good speakers are, sometimes all you need to do is to keep the good sound to yourself and enjoy.

You should update on the first page in the "What we did not like" - "Type B2 GT555M instead of B1".

Anything better than the GT555M would create too much heat and take too much power.

I can think of only better processor, more RAM and more HDD storage in the i7 model. Better display? Unlikely.

Just wait a while then. Not like you really need the laptop to begin with.

Don't use the desktop much anymore. It was collecting dust until I used it to fold.
