QUOTE(djpianz @ Aug 8 2011, 03:56 PM) Hi, sorry if this had been mentioned before. sgs2 got this increasing ringtone volume? din notice that... i like this feature. i wonder if they have that for alarm as well... i guess time for me to check and play with the phone settings...For SGS II users of stock rom, some will find that the increasing ring sound will make it to late to hear the full volume of the phone ringing, hence the missed call because of the call was forwarded to voicemail service. For custom rom user, the file "phone.apk" can be replaced by a modded one to disable the increasing ring feature. But for the stock rom, what you can do is basically by lengthen your phone ringing time before the call reach voicemail. |

QUOTE(KLHC1964 @ Aug 9 2011, 10:37 AM) whatever you do try not to crack or break the glass - gorilla glass cracked after a fall , actually I think it was also due to one drop lat week, and went to SMSC to replace (ap set la) - it comes as a whole pc - with the casing and connectors to the the OLED - costs RM511.70 - if labour then additional RM100. I bought the part and went back and spent 3 hours dismantling the unit and remembered what connected to what section, then tested it - and it booted back up again like normal. No more open casing - best invest in a pouch btw i am not a case seller in case ppl think I am spamming......... maybe we can put this on Pg1... at least ppl know how much a replacement screen will cost... QUOTE(ccm @ Aug 9 2011, 10:47 AM) mind sharing how do you guys clean your screen? normally just lick it clean... *kidding*I have some sweat stain on my screen and I cannot clean them.. QUOTE(cadmus @ Aug 9 2011, 04:34 PM) hello, you can check this...jsut got myself this phone need help. I'm downloadign the apps fromt he market. soemthign concern me. the permissions that some apps is asking.. ie access to phone and contacts and make changes to SD/usb storage and several others. any idea what i should do or any apps that can help to block this? or other solutions? http://techpp.com/2010/07/30/android-apps-...e-private-data/ my only advice... use logic. if its a local game (meaning game that dun give you option to play against friends) is asking for access to contacts, etc... then better be careful. usually the explanation is given. but if not happy, just dun install. i have done that with apps from GLU (like Gun Bros), etc... |
