tried reinstalling LPP? and since the MIUI theme have battery change too it might stumbled upon the circlemod you have, which i think why the hell it could involve LPP?? and it have 2 parts, you have to install 1 part, and dont reboot, install part 2 and then reboot. thats the right way. also might consider restoring anything that have relation first. like restore the circlemod first then install the theme since both have relations with framework-res.apk.

not nandroid la. find the backup in VRTweaks/backup on your sd card. then replace them without the .bak extension in the original folder. example is system/framework. status bar fc is cuz you have clashing mods that you installed previously, related to the same modified file.

i thought litening use Ninpo's kernel by default? why would it have problems.

VR got problem with Ninpo's kernel? 99.9% close to impossible to have wifi issues with both of them. and i never got them too.

cm7 rarely has FC's. meaning of not stable is random reboot, some stuff not working. they wont be fc's on cm7 unless you install some script or themes. i even build cm7 based rom on desire while it is not officially released yet. and it is stable actually. just without the usual tweaks and mods of default cm.

i cant really say. i've known so much bout cm7 that i got bored now. maybe for now.

you wont notice if you never use CM. i was on CM6, and when CM7 released, many core stuffs are not there yet, especially on the early nightly builds. they usually take form in 20++ builds. one being added after another. after that you'll know what i mean by some stuff not working.

on your first encounter with CM, you'll think its enough but no you're wrong. there is more to come oh and maybe some games wont work. and some apps too. i dont know if this has been solved, but CM7 and Widgetlocker have problems with widgets missing after reboot.

actually Cm nightlies bugs are acceptable if you are using is until 100++ build. trust me i've use CM7 since it was introduced, nightly #1 until nightly #115. there was RC1, stable 7.0, RC 7.1 in between. you'll notice difference in 10 builds usually. but not sure how sgs2 dev working. but should be the same.it was a fun ride though. getting reboots, apps not loading, it was all normal. thats why i didnt care bout battery life and reboots or lag or hang. its normal on nightlies.

one stuff to check always after a nightlies is the CM setting. check each one and you'll know when one new thing is added. sometimes in sound, call settings maybe.

and one note, CM7 kernels are the best. dont ever use other kernel cuz you'll rugi. CM7 kernel works with CM7 the best.

haha i always heard dev saying that. especially the s-off guys for htc dev. cuz s-off has the possiblity to brick your phone, FOREVER! and htc dont have USB jig so you know many peoples scared when alpharev first introduce s-off. i do it the first day they release cuz of that statement. haha~~

yeah do more reading. everything you said there is not accurate but i can say ok la. well happy flashing. Litening already use Ninphetamine kernel(read the changelog in litening thread) so you might want to stop there and use it first. after done more reading you can try other stuff as you wish. you dont want to have headace on first day flashing wouldnt you? wifi not working la, dropping signal la, all that stuff. enjoy your first custom rom first ya.

but HTC Sense pwns any other stock UI though. kinda miss the sense 3.0 especially the weather.

your friend must have everything running then. i agree HTC sense can be laggy but not on Sensation. Even on my Desire running the 3.0 ported sense got no lag, so how come the Sensation got lag. and you havent tried HTC in AOSP yet. Damn fastar!! as much as i love my SGS2, i still would like to defend HTC

i'm waiting for someone to put this on VRTweaks lolz~~ and also waiting for somenone to make it like CM7 so we can choose almost all toggles and scroll them
