hmm, 1.552v vcore.
this board should come with 4+1 phase. watch out when stress test. |

i think 1.552v is abit high.
what cpu cooler you use? and the board vrm circuit don't have much cooling, there is a chance to burn the circuit if stress test at high vcore. you can try to play with base clock instead of just multiplier. suggest you to ask here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1947866 more experience sifu are inside. What is the point of acheiving 4.3ghz if you only have enough time to validate and not running any benchmark??
And watch out for the vrm as MSI 4+1 phase mobo tend to have vrm failure when running high voltage.. |

Increase 0.1 Ghz not big deal. You barely notice the performance.

is not about speed different...i juz wan know how much limitation of my processor...
i dun intend of stress coz i m running full slot 8GB DDR2 at 1066MHz speed...i tried full stress at 3.9GHz ended up blue screen after few seconds |

temperature only 41-42C, but as my fren said...4 slots fully loaded rams might make stress and OC harder to success

QUOTE(XionCity @ Jul 30 2011, 12:09 AM) is not about speed different...i juz wan know how much limitation of my processor... haha, in overclocking,i dun intend of stress coz i m running full slot 8GB DDR2 at 1066MHz speed...i tried full stress at 3.9GHz ended up blue screen after few seconds processor, motherboard, ram and probably cpu cooling work together. processor probably can go higher, but may limit by motherboard or ram or cpu cooling. means you probably cannot found real limit of the processor. but only found the limit of the processor in this particular platform. |

bro, 4ghz stable is kinda hard to achieve on 790chipset..its achievable but trying to find the "g-spot" is a PITA.
maybe lower ur vcore..up ur cpu/nb . also u can try increase the vdda range between 2.51 ~ 2.6 like bro Saturn said.perhaps u shud play with htt more rather than multiplier..this will benefit more |
