Who's the one who predicted that Man U would beat West Brom 6-0? LOL..
Anyways, lots of upsets this week. Let's hope that Man City don't mess up against Swansea tonight. |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Aug 21 2011, 02:47 PM) I've got 1 perfect prediction for Arsenal - Liverpool. I knew The Reds will beat the under strength Gunners side. I predicted 0-2 for RAWK.. Confident but you still put insurance chip on that game, bro? Awesome game last night , enjoyed every moment! Good win by the real Reds. Arsenal in bad shape but didn't expect them to lose at home. |

QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 9 2011, 04:20 PM) Everton in bad shape after losing Arteta and Beckford, but the two new signings - Drenthe and that Argie top striker sounds good. Probably would need time to blend in.I'll go for a draw or perhaps a shock Villa win. If QPR can beat the Toffees at Goodison, why not Villa? But a tough call, nonetheless. Can put insurance chip there |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Sep 9 2011, 05:16 PM) Skywire @ rawk32 is the true pundit - here put everton 2-1 but in the end predict 1-1 draw and get 20 points. That's good strategy. Hehe. Quick, looks like you made a quick buck and 20 points there as well. Wish we had more banter among the members. A bit too quiet here. Result of the week? I'd say Stoke's win over Liverpool. Didn't think that Liv could win there, but didn't expect them to lose. If Suarez had scored that last min chance I'd have got 30 points spot on. But in the end -10 |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Sep 12 2011, 12:11 PM) I knew Darren Bent is doubtful , so i had changed my mind on Toffees v Villa prediction from 2-1 to 1-1 , still achieved 20 points. Initially i had place 1-0 for Arsenal v Swansea, changed my mind since they have better team now. Stoke v Liv , never expected result. But i knew Liv gonna have hard time. I have 2 predictions wrong this week, better than any season i played. The best was 2009.. Both mine last night went haywire. Didn't expect norwich to lose at home to WBA, and sure didn't expect Fulham to drop 2 points at home to a poor blackburn side. Oh well.. |

QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 16 2011, 03:16 PM) almost all or rather all of the pundits out there is predicting a MU win this week I'm a true Blue since 1994 and I can tell you that Man U will walk all over the Blues this Sunday. With the form they are in plus the fact that they are playing at home, even to get a point will be a tall order.as much as i hate it, i am going for a MU win as well personally i think there are only 2 teams that stands a fair chance to put MU winning streak to an end for the moment City and Liv, this 2 teams die die also will suicide with MU Man C is possible, but not Liverpool. QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 16 2011, 03:16 PM) i have a very weird feeling about spurs - liv game Spurs win or perhaps a draw. Spurs are unpredictable at the moment. So is Liverpool's away form.it can go all 3 ways for this home win, draw, away win.. what say you guys on this? Spurs rested quite a lot of first team players for the Europa League trip to PAOK. |

QUOTE(Quick` @ Sep 17 2011, 02:47 AM) why not bro? for the past 2 seasons, Liv may have falter against smaller clubs I read your post again and I think I misunderstood you. Now I know you meant teams who can put Man U's winning streak to an end as in games. I thought winning streak of titles - hence teams who can give them a run for the title. Sorry but against MU, they have been releasing it all...i think they had a fair cut of the pie against MU for the past 2 season i think it is an understatement here to doubt Liv if they are capable of beating MU this year, Yes in that case, surely Liverpool would be in the mix. I agree with you that Liv always give it 110% vs Man U. Let's see if Chelsea can pull a rabbit out of the hat this weekend. Bad time to play Man U, seriously. Sigh. |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Sep 17 2011, 03:59 AM) The last Liverpool won at OT was in 2009 [1-4]. Outplayed United. That's the not the case now. They are much stronger and faster (United). It's hard to say games like this how a big team could go on and win against United. Unless sloppy play and reckless red cards. Yes we all remember that epic match. What a game. Torres ought to put in a room and brainwashed 24hrs with replays of that match - how he ran rings around Vidic. Sigh |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Sep 18 2011, 03:16 AM) I survived with well played banker on Everton - Wigan although its 45 points. Got 3 scores wrong. Hopefully can could go and clinch 30 pointer for all the games tomorrow inculding United v Chelsea. I'm actually going for United win at the end. Tough place to win (OT) If Drenthe didn't score the 3rd Everton goal in the 7th min of extra time I'd have 20 more points (exact score 2-1), and you'd have 15 less points, bro. New leader in our group! Rawk you've steadily climbed up the leaderboard. Just a whiff away from me. I think I'm gonna kena teruk the rest of this weekend. Hehe. Added on September 18, 2011, 7:05 pmOn another note, how come my banker bonus is back to 0? Shouldn't it be 15 and if I get it right again this week i'll get 20? I've never got my banker wrong so far. Sigh. Weird. This post has been edited by dariofoo: Sep 18 2011, 07:05 PM |

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Sep 19 2011, 12:05 AM) If you place your Banker correctly your Banker Bonus for the following week is credited with +5 points up to a maximum of +20. If you place your Banker incorrectly, your Banker Bonus is reset to zero for the following week. If you decide not to play your Banker your bonus will be protected but you will not score your bonus for that Gameweek I understand the rules, bro, but as I had said, I never got my Banker bonus wrong previously. So, it ought to have continued for this week. It was reset to zero although last week it was +15. Doesn't matter anymore as Man C blew it against Fulham, so my Banker bonus is back to zero. Not a good week for many. Even the overall leaders didn't fare too well. Zero points would actually be good! |

Sky,
I think the leaderboard should be stated as up to Gameweek 5 and not 4. Cheers. |

QUOTE(Quick` @ Oct 9 2011, 02:39 PM) damn quiet thread anyways we are heading back to prediction week Hey guys I have been following the thread but I thought this week no discussion coz international break.internationals has been good, no injuries or whatsoever i guess Anyway I'm not faring too well the past two weeks of predictor. The funny thing about this game is that if you have one bad week, someone else who was 150 points and 10 places below you can also catch up and overtake you! |

Guys,
Big match-up this weekend - Reds vs Red Devils What do you guys think? Fans of both teams better back your team to win and don't hide behind those insurance chips! |

Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool, no insurance.
Spurs at home to Villa looks viable for banker chip. Other fixtures seem close to call. Can City beat Toon? Might look safe but Toon are playing tight, tactical football. |
